Wouldn't surprise me if he gets more than the vets minimum, I could see some team offering him a two year $6M deal and besides would he want to come back after being traded from here?

KT is done. He can barely get up and down the court.

Still a better rebounder and post defender than anyone on the team and still has an automatic J. He'd likely start over the rest of the PF riftraff.

I'd take him for 1 year.

From what I saw in playoffs with the bucks vs hawks I'd take him too without any hesitation. He gave good and solid minutes, still a very decent defender for his age. I bet he can teach Robin some valuable things. Some veteran leadership can't hurt us.

Yeah I only saw about 5 Bucks games plus the playoffs but he still looked basically the same as when he was with the Suns, though it looked like he put on some weight(not muscle). Starting Lopez/KT would probably be the best defensive Suns front court since Big Jake/Googs/Cliff Robinson and they'd still have great spacing as well as some vicious KT screens to work off of.

It would be good to have KT back, for the right price of course. His jumpshot would be a nice addition next to Lopez in the post. But if he has slowed down, and can't run the floor as well, then that might be a problem.

With Lopez down on the block, this team would probably benefit more from a quicker PF who can hit mid range J's.

He's the type of cheap option I could see us replacing Collins with as I mentioned in the "Haywood" thread. We need a better PF/C insurance option considering Warrick/Clark aren't as good as Amare/Lou.

I'll take him back instantly. INSTANTLY. Our team suffered when he was gone. I don't care how much older he is, our defense and rebounding would improve immensely.

I can't see him making as big of a impact as he once did. I wouldn't put too much into this even if he does sign.

^ah nice, thanks! I'm actually glad to see it's an actual rumor. I know some aren't too excited but he's a hundred steps up from Jarron Collins, just look at it that way.

Kurt Thomas coming back would be very nice as a mentor for our bigs. I just hope we don't dump him again if we do get him and let him stick with the team if he wants.
