Yeah, the reason I see us trading Thad would be so we can save money and not extend him. We're going to either lose Buike' or have to extend him if we bring him in, so it's kind of a lose-lose.

Quick trade idea for Sixers fans:

Nocioni for Vujacic?

-LA needs a 3/4 to replace Powell and Morrison. Can afford to spend a bit.
- Phila gets an expirer for Noc. Potentially, deal Vuja at t.d. if the option presents.

I really dislike Vujacic, but I'd probably do it. Not a huge Nocioni fan, and to me he just brings more rotation problems since he plays the positions we're deepest at.

This was an idea when Noc was with Sacto but of course they'd never ever deal with LA, so I thought it could be rekindled here. Thanks for the feedback bbk.

We drop Nocioni's 2011 contract year, and free up ~1 million this season, so if we want a young big we can? This would be a solid yes.

Vujacic for Nocioni?

I love it. You have to post it on the T&T board bro ;)

It would be nice, BUT ... Nocioni is not worth to trade for. Vujacic is like a redbull-shot for the Lakers, whenever they need someone to come in from the bench and bring his A-hustle. Nocioni? He can shoot the 3 ... sometimes, out of shape, not a great defensive mindset (Sasha cant defend too, but as I said - hustle machine and tries really hard).

Lakers can no prob bring someone who wants badly a ring, allow him to play for almost nothing, and have someone definitly better than Andres Nocioni.

Vujacic is absolute garbage, and if you think else wise you need to watch some Lakers games.

Thats why he was benched for a long time and only withdrawed in certain moments (as I said - redbull-shot), simpley because he's at least irritating for the player which he guards. The funny thing, Im defending Vujacic, but I do really hate him. Like ... really. Hate his arrogancy and too much selfconfidence.

On the other hand, I would stay with Sasha. Nocioni bring NOTHING to the table. He was great in '05 (Chicago - Miami series), but from that point he went down.

Nah, Lee is great, but another PF? Gives us something big (but not Big Al - hate him for his work ethic ... ).

I mean it seems like some of you guys didn't like the idea of adding Nene so I thought you would like this more, Lee is an undersized C but put up nice numbers this past season playing there. Plus he's 27.

We got already undersized in Brand ... its enough. Unless we throw him out (impossible), its no use to get a 6,9 center. And no - we do not want Darko ... even for free.
Wacht out, one of Allen Iverson fans.

Don't judge me. Only Jebus can.

You can make rotations. Have Lee start at C, then move him to PF after some time, and put Hawes at C, sub Brand in when Lee needs to take a breather.

Adding Lee makes Spreights dissapear from our rotation. And we still end up undersized. No no, me no likey. Wanna have Iguodala? Than take Brand with him ... and maybe Nocioni. That would be nice. Iggy trade value is higher than just some Lee.

We don't want any player who makes Brand a 51 million dollar backup. Not to mention the amount of money Lee is going to get. Plus PF is our deepest position and we don't want Lee at C. It just wouldn't work.

Thanks for the offer though, but it's going to take a young player that's a good fit for us to move Iguodala. Someone who plugs in at the 2, 3, or 5 and is an immediate *long term* starter.

We wouldn't take Brand to get Turner what makes you think we would take him in with Iggy's contract? That's fine, only time will tell if Iggy works with Turner anyways (no troll intended). Good day.

Regarding the Nocioni for Vujacic swap: HELL YES.

If that deal happened, then the Dalembert deal looks genius.

Please post that on the trade board, and if the Lakers fans like it, please send it to Ed Stefanksi
