I know I shouldnt read to much into this but maybe, just maybe this is about Mav Cater and his friends and offering them jobs and hammering out details of their contracts.

LeBron did not attend the second meeting with the Knicks.

The sense the Knicks get is that James will likely re-sign with the Cavs.

As I said in a different post on another thread, Knicks fans are the most deserving of this because of all the crap you guys have gone through the past 10 or so years.

We might not burn cars like you guys do (I'm kidding) but I'm sure we'll be over the moon. Thanks for your kind words.

LOL got me there(Things were defiantly CRAZY out here in LA county couple weeks ago).

One thing though, LOL at cleveland if this happens. Go from best record regular season 2 years to...Jamison their best player!

LOL and honestly bro...they deserve every loss coming their way. They were talking soooooo much SHIIIT, man. Regular season champions for two years straight, and they thought that was something to throw in our faces. Good for them. Have fun with JJ Hickson.

Just to look at this from a different point of view, does anyone think that maybe the Knicks got wind he might be leaning toward NJ, so they are making this last desperate effort?

Something is definitely fishy with Lebron now waiting until after his summer camp in Akron to announce is decision and with him traveling to the area on Wed. This could be good news for NJ or NY though.

why would the knicks make a last ditch effort to get him, it makes no sense because if scott o'neil is going there right now, thats 3 meetings in total...

Also, if Lebron doesnt want to play for a team wouldnt he just be like, thanks but im not interested in playing for u instead of having guys travel from ny to cleveland on a holiday weekend

What a homer. A second meeting doesn't really mean anything since Lebron wasn't there. Lebron obviously sent his people there for a reason.

Did you read the full article? That was the Knicks "officials" feelings on Thursday. That was before all of the great meetings. That was before getting Amare interested. Knicks felt on Thursday he would re up. Why? Because they didn't have any interest yet from anybody. Things have changed every 2 seconds since then.

Claims it could just be "noise". Trying to discredit this.

From Marc Berman

" Knicks' Glen Grunwald and Scott O'Neil met only with the agent, not LeBron James, Saturday morning. "

Now with that being said why would they meet with the agent for a last chance effort to convince Lebron to come to NYC. I think the reason they met with just the Agent which sounds logical is because they are discussing contract numbers i could be wrong but thats how i see it, why would the Knicks want to pitch to the agent without Lebron being present makes no sense i think ...
