Clark can play the 3 on offense and cover the 4 or 3 on defense, depending on the type of offensive of player the PF is.
Nash 6'3/Fisher 6'2
Duds 6'7/ Kobe 6'6
Clark 6'10/ Odom 6'11
Warrick 6'9/Artest 6'7
Frye 6'11/Gasol 7'0
would potentially (Clark) be an effective lineup to finish games with. Clark Guards the PF and Warrick guards the SF. Nash, ,Duds and Frye are our three spacers, Warrick runs the PnR with Nash, and Clark can slash to the hoop. That defense is better than last year's with Amare.
If Clark does what he is capable of doing, we are back to the finals..Book it. Frye is no stopper, but he is effective enough, and he will take is man out of the paint, clearing room for Warrick and Clark.
Now of course if Clark isn't ready, then we will struggle.
lol are you sayin frye could match up with gasol?
Yea..didn't you read where I said Frye would shut him down?? I guess you didn't watch our games against LAL during the WCF and saw who finished the games.
Nash
Dudley or JRich
Hill or Dudley
Amare
and
FRYE!!
and he wasn't in their to shut him down. No one can "match up" with Gasol pretty much on any team, but damnit, it sure looked good in game 4 when Frye found his stroke shooting wide open J's because Gasol wouldn't come out to guard him.
oh ye ur right frye did such a great job for us down low and also havin such a great field goal percentage we wouldnt have won the series if it wernt for him ..oh wait i forgot we i did lose cuz we wernt effective on defense in the paint and allowed second chance points every possesion and as happy as i was when channing started to shoot better, one good game cant win u a series
