Ok so I know NOTHING about this Hadi character.

Is Hadi talking about news for Chris Bosh? Also, that one post is 9 hours ago, does that mean big news TODAY (monday) or tomorrow

I really dont like the sound of it, Hadi saying and a NY guy saying that we should have something today doesnt seem very promising to me...

Anyone with a little patience care to explain something that I'm sure has already been dealt with in 10 different threads at least 20 different times? How would the Bulls get both Wade and Bosh if Toronto won't take back Deng? I thought I was pretty sure that Johnson and Gibson (and picks, presumably) wouldn't be enough. Are you guys thinking that the cap may come in a little higher than expected on Thursday, and you'll get it done that way? It seems like there are only 3 possibilities for making a Bosh s&t happen:

(i) Higher cap figure (making Gibson/Johnson for Bosh viable);

(ii) Toronto taking back Deng (seems unlikely given Hedo and what they've said); or

(iii) Moving Deng to someone for cap space. (I'm assuming this would have to be the Clippers (although they did just draft that dude Aminu) -- are there other teams that could do this (maybe Minny?)).

Otherwise, Bosh (and/or Wade) pretty much have to sign for less money to make it happen, right?

Hope this comes across as an innocent query, b/c it is. I'm a Heat fan but have lived in Chicago/Bucktown for a half decade now and would love both the Heat and the Bulls to come out of this free agency period with something good.

In considering sign-and-trade options with Raptors for Bosh, don't sell short 1st-rounder Heat due from Toronto. Picks provide flexibility. less than a minute ago via web

(i)--yes
(ii)yes
(iii) This is the most important, and you have to realize that we don't need to dump Deng for pure capspace. We need to turn his outgoing salary of 11 million into about 9.5 or 9 million of incoming salary. Which shouldn't be hard.

That's a good question. If the Bulls had got Lebron, it made things relatively easy. The Bulls had suitors for Deng that could free up the capspace. With Wade and Bosh, you need Deng or at least, a starting SF.

If the Bulls trade Gibson and Johnson, that means they only have Rose, Deng and Noah on the roster. That's $20,018,000 total. Add in 7 cap holds and you have $3,297,000+$20,0180,000=$23,315,000. On a $56.4M cap, thats $33.1M or right around two max contracts.

Basically, Chicago has to find a suitor for Johnson and Gibson either as a salary dump or in sign and trade. Note that if both guys take $250,000 paycuts, the Bulls can keep Gibson.

LOL! @ Ira....

That isn't interesting....that was going to be part of the package all along... OF COURSE the Raptors were going to want their pick back.

Maybe Riley was holding out to see if he could get Bosh for cheaper and without giving up a pick....or force Toronto to take SuperCool... But BC was smart enough to say "hell no"....and Bosh was greedy enough to say "6th year me".... This "could" have cost Riley one said D-Wade.
Jealousy is a sickness.......get well soon....

Twitter buzz of C.Bosh having made decision on free agency is news to Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors. No word from Bulls

The only buzz was from his friend but it turned the guy wasn't talking about Bosh at all. Unless there is another Bosh rumor on Twitter that I'm not aware of.

i have extreme doubts wade goes to new york. this guy would be backstabbing miami (i guess he would no matter where he went) AND be away from his kids.

i seriously doubt he said what was rumored

Ok that makes sense, as does the other explanation referencing a Deng trade where you guys net 2 million or so in cap space (ie, incoming salaries are 2 million less than Deng's).

Interesting stuff. This cap figure actually has significant implications.

As some of you know, I've been one of the big Bulls posters over at Hoopshype for quite some time now. And these days I'm beginning to divide my time between here and there. One of my fellow Bulls fan posters over there just made an interesting post about Wade that more than likely means absolutely nothing, but I thought I'd share it with all of you. He goes by the user name joehoo2 (he retired "joehoo" awhile ago):

His brother who he is extremely close to also lives in oak lawn, I'll where they have lived since wade played for richards high school. My buddy plays against wade's brother who is like a really old poor man's dumars. His brother has been saying for 1.5 years that barring a vastly superior roster in miami, wade will come home.

It would make sense...Wade pushed for a joining of the three in MIAMI and if it doesn't happen he joins Chicago.

Do you know who the Bulls sent to visit Bosh on July 1, at midnight? I'll just say onions, salami and cheese were involved. 28 minutes ago via web
