Tyrus has such poor offense that I don't see him being more than a bench player. I know he has the ability to block shots and protect the paint, but no one on this team does this better than Yao Ming. Even with mediocre post defenders (like Scola) complementing Yao Ming, our frontcourt defense shouldn't have many problems. Because of that, I'd much rather keep Scola and his offensive output.

Yao can protect the paint against other bigs but other teams swingman abuse the paint when Yao is in there. It does not matter anyways this trade will never happen and I am no longer in favor of this trade because those future Knick picks are seemingly going to keep it's lotto value. I although i think you could still make a package based around Hill and expiring contracts
