Bring over Splitter theres a big to help Duncan.
Sign Gnomes back up for the SF or PF in small ball line up.
Invite Jerome Jordan, Art Parakhouski, or Jordan Eglseder and sign one and let him play in the summer league.
Looking for a third PG look at Denis Clemente, or Scottie Reynolds

That's easy :

Sign Shaq, Raja Bell and Kyle Korver.

Shaq / Richards / Mahinmi
TD / Blair / Mc Dyess
Jefferson / Korver
Gino / Bell / Mason
TP / Hill

Not a young team, but an excellent team.

Sounds like Mike Miller's gonna get a deal around 35-40 million, putting him way out of our range.

Looks like that RJeff didnt like to play for you guys :(

As for Mike Miller, he will get a good deal in this market, so i expect him to sign with you just though SignAndTrade, there isnt other option.

Sounds like RJ wants out. Word is he wants to go to New York or back too New Jersey.

I'm not his biggest fan either but if he leaves we have Malik Hariston as our starting SF and no money to find someone else, unless we pick up someone better for the vet min or through a trade.

RJ wasn't a good fit here...

Oh well....

I want Splitter at MLE and Marrow and BAE.

I'm hoping Jefferson returns at a lower price (4 year 35 mil) in return for helping the team lower the tax numbers. Splitter signed at MLE. Matt Barnes signed at BAE. We get a solid 10 man rotation.

C: Splitter / Dice
PF: Duncan / Blair
SF: Jefferson / Barnes
SG: Manu / Anderson
PG: Parker / Hill

Would the Spurs take Luol Deng?
I think Luol Deng really suits Spurs and since RJ left you do have some wiggle room right?
SO i am thinking about Luol Deng for Mcdyess.
What do you fans think?

I don't think the contract works. Deng is paid like 10 mil right? Dice is only at 6. More players will need to be involved and we don't really have the contracts to pull off a trade. But yeah, I think the Spurs will be interested in Luol Deng as a SF. He's young, got a deadly midrange game, tough on the boards, and a really good defensive player. All of which the Spurs can surely use from their SF.

TP to Knicks to pair with Amare (assuming Stoudemire signs with them) per wiretap...does it seem plausible? Who could they possibly offer to us that we would be expected to take?

Roger Mason is as good as gone. I don't know the market for him, but there's a possibility (given the huge contracts being handed out) that he could get an average of 3 mil a year in his contract. Thing is, he's a shooter who thinks he's more than a shooter. IMO, he should stick to being a spot up shooter. Nothing else.

As far as trading Parker to NY, I don't see that happening at all. I'm sure we'll ask for either Gallo or Chandler back. Other than that, I don't see anything that make sense. After Jefferson opt out, we're not exactly in a cap-clearing mode anymore. So trades such as Tony for Chandler and Trade Exception or some sort of that crap don't make sense for us. Right now, I just don't see anything to make that work. If the Spurs trade Parker for basically cap space, then we've given up on the whole "one more run" thing. And if we've given up, you damn sure will see Manu and TD get traded too for young guys and cap rooms and we start going EXTREMELY young.

Douglas + Gallinari? I'd take that deal, don't know if the Knicks would do it.

Hi guys,I´m a bobcats/Lakers fan but I was just wondering if you´d do this trade with the Haks.I´ve read they´re selling Marvin Williams and Tony Parker is in the market right now so:

Marvin Williams+Mike Bibby xxx Tony Parker + Anderson.

You get a replacement for Parker,he could give you 25 minutes per game as well as providing teaching to George Hill to develop into a solid point guard.Marvin Williams should be better than Jefferson.

The Hawks earn a better point guard and if they sign Miller with the MLE I think tey are capable of doing great things in the East.

See you ;)

I wouldn't do it.

All star Parker+youth for an average veteran and a role player?
NO WAY!

Also, we are using the MLE for Splitter.

Not a chance, throwing in Anderson just makes it worse.

Damn it, I forgot where I just read this, but it says stuff about how the West just got weaker.

Phoenix lost Amare. Utah is likely to lose Boozer. Denver without George Karl is just not that good. Prediction wise, LA still at top. But then it's us, Oklahoma, and Portland. I don't know about you guys, but if we're the 2nd best West team behind LA, that's a pretty good place to be. I'm getting excited about next season. Perhaps, it's not making any moves is the best move this team can make. Now, if only we can bring back Richard Jefferson or Matt Barnes... Or BOTH! We'd be set to make a very nice playoff run. Atleast we should go to the Western Conference Finals and bow down to the Lakers. And if things go right for us, we may actually get past them.

If Portland are healthy, I think they're better than us next year. Same deal with Houston. Hard to say if OKC will build on what they did this past season or regress like the Hornets did after '08. I'm not sure we'll be the 2nd best team in the west this season, and even if we are, it makes no difference. The Lakers are so much better than the rest of the west it's sickening. Both rosters as they are currently would be no more than a 6 game playoff series (at best).

I am still not sold of Jefferson playing anywhere near at the capacity he has played in other teams before. He simply doesn't fit and he is proven to be an overrated defender (and he never was considered a great defender) He does not have an outside shot that is needed in our system, especially when Parker and Hill cannot shoot terribly well from the outside. Mike Miller would be a far better fit. I also prefer Webster over Jefferson. Webster would be perfect. He can defend and he can shoot, and he is not a player that needs to ball.

I also like Batum, Gomes, Barnes, and Rasual Butler.

Splitter is a must for size. I would like the Spurs to move Dyse, as Blair can play that role, and look at getting Brad Miller as well.
