General Summer League thread!

Post#1 » by Calinks » Mon Jul 5, 2010 6:38 pm

Summer league has started and its on now. For those of us who have NBA TV games are being showed all day. Right now we got Charlotte vs. Utah. Here is a boxscore.

So far no one is really blowing up. Which rook do you guys think will have the biggest impact in summer league?

This has probably been covered before, but is there a way to see the replays of these games on-line. I live in London, so I can't really see them live anyways.

For us, I think Johnny will tear it up with Wes. I have a soft spot for cedric simmons, I am hoping he can get it together and take Hollins spot as the 4th big on the roster. I seem to remember his measurements where off the hook and was being compared to Dwight Howard.

Stephenson playing the point and looking pretty good. Maybe we screwed up on that one. We should have taken a chance on him over Hayward.

Hmm, will Harden be seen as a bust in 3 or 4 years?

Also next game will be awesome!

Stephenson looked awesome. Just a complete mismatch for Jerome Randle, although Stinson couldn't handle him either. Complete bull with the ball, and knocked down a couple midrange jumpers along with some snazzy passing. I thought he'd have to be humbled before he started scratching the surface, but it looks like that may have happened at Cincy. He's so sudden moving with the ball.

George was pretty meh overall. One really nice finish in transition, and his jumper looked good when he took it.

The French PG Heurtel looked interesting, really quick.

Orton looked like poo warmed over. Robinson looked athletic, but not much else.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Favors looking very active.
Truner just sized up Favors and J'ed it in his face.
Turner was plaing inside and he made a nice pass out to the perimeter for a 3.

Jrue Holiday is playing very well.
