What was the name of this player

He was a small forward. I am not sure if he ever made the team or not, he is black and has a funny last name that starts with an ''M''. I'm not sure if he is African-American or not, but I know he is black, and he must have played in some preseason games with the Rockets. To make a long story short, I heard his brother got beat up by a group of guys at a bar in Kansas awhile back. Apparently, it was race related, so I was wondering if anyone remembered that story and could possibly come up with his name?

The brother of the guy who was attacked playerd for the Rockets, possibly on their preseason roster at one point. It could be anywhere from 99-2000ish...i'm not sure. The guy who played for the Rocket's had an African sounding name that started with an M.

Maybe someone knows, thanks for taking the time anyway/

Yeah as soon as you said his brother got beat up I knew exactly who you were talking about. This ain't the first time Ike has been beat the hell up. It's crazy cause he's not a little guy by any means, he's actually quite formidable. I guess some people just aren't born to fight.
