Physical limitations which can obviously be corrected with time in the gym. I'm appalled by the number of times size/strength issues are heralded as indicative of a players future. Developing muscles is much easier than developing a jumper. Curry can grow into a defensive skin with time.

As for quickness, Curry isn't exactly a slowpoke. He plays point in the fastest system in the league, after all, and fairly effectively at that.

It was more of a focus thing from what I noticed. He wouldn't really care if the guy blew by him because nobody else was guarding their man. We've all seen he can play D though, remember the Tyreke game?

Which game? I only saw 2 Warrior/Kings games. One was when Udrih came off the bench and lit us up, and an early season one where Curry looked awful.

I don't know, and TBH I'm too lazy to look up the stats but Curry shut Tyreke down. The ability is down, he just needs to be encouraged to play D.

Curry got smoked by pretty much every rookie PG he faced.
Beaubois, Holiday twice, even the younger but seconde year player Bayless.

He's slow, TERRIBLE defender.

But those guys are 4x the player Curry is, right?

Bumped so the names you're referring to are on the same page.
Yup, Holiday's a far better PG. Bayless far more explosive player. For a true change of pace, Bayless does more. Curry could be a Jason Terry type 6th man though if properly used. Minus the quicks of course. They said Terry was an elite PG in the making once upon a time, too.........

BoBo is just SIIIIIICK.

I could be way off-base here, but wasn't Chris Paul's knee injury fairly serious long-term? If that were the case I'm not all that crazy about asking a guy with a bad wheel to carry the franchise.

Oh yeah, forgot about Collison. He torched Curry, too.
Chris Paul may be "available" like Baron was once upon a time only with elite ceiling and no fat laziness making him totally free. It'll cost PLENTY to get Paul back. But Paul is a whiny prima donna for sure. Quit on his team more or less now.

Factually indefensible post on dead talking point. More effort needed.

So back on topic, if CP3 had a clean bill of health it would be dumb to not trade Curry for him. The dude was the best player in the NBA a few years back and should have won the MVP over Kobe, that talent doesn't just disappear.

naw..he had a chance, but Kobe was better in a deciding game. If Hornets won that game it was CP3's trophy.

I'm not as high on CP3 as most. I'd like us to keep Curry for now, see what he can do in his sophomore season with a fully healthy squad 1st. He could be the next Kareem Magic Air Stockton, which is my prediction for him anyway.

I've heard he has been working on the sky hook.......... my sauce never lies. No sale anytime soon.

New Orleans isn't trading away Chris Paul unless Emeka Okafor and his contract is involved.

That trade as is though would have to be done by the Warriors.

If you can acquire CP3 for Curry and change... do it already.

You can't. Not remotely adequate return.

I agree... plus, if they're trading CP3, its because they believe Collison can run the point, and they'd have to be looking for a big time PF/C in exchange, not another PG. At best it would have to be a 3 way on a cap-conscious team, who'd prefer a lesser talent in Curry due to salary rather than CP3.

Collison makes Paul the offseasons's premier trade chip, I think, but NO's sale stalling has them in complete non-factor mode right now. Totally ineffectual mess own there. Again.

George Shinn is back on top baby!
