for those of you that watch the game on espn gamecast.....doesn't it suck that they ruin the surprise of runs scoring by changing the score as soon as the ball is hit?

What a great inning. We seem to be scoring a lot of runs on wild pitches lately.

I guess Captain has to keep the threads coming....

.... hopefully for at least 6 more games.

I remember when getting ten games over 500 seemed big. We are now 14 games over. WOW. That has to be the best home stand I ever remember. Now I wouldn't mind seeing a great run on the road too. We are on pace to win 114 now. I am not saying we are going to keep that up but 90+ wins should seem like a piece of cake now to those who still were still on the fence with that straw poll.

I am still nervous about the rest of the month. I think if we take 2 or 3 out of 3 from the Mets I will be fully on the bandwagon.

In his first game thread, I told him he could get us some Webb's the way this season is going. He was worried cause he was 0-1 at that time. His record should be steller now. Actually maybe we should just keep a tight rotation of WE4FPIM, trwi7, and Captain cause those three lead the charge during this streak.

I actually went to the Cubs page and they have a cool tracking thread stickied with all sorts of stats. Maybe I will make a slimmed down version of that. I want to but I keep putting it off since I am kind of superstitious myself and I hate to change anything when it comes to the Brewers right now since they are so hot.

I seriously hope Coco's arm doesn't fall off. Great win though.

I wouldn't be too worried. He's on pace for 83 appearances and 74 IP. Last year he had 77 appearances and 75.1 IP. In Texas he also had seasons of 77.1, 82.2, 71.2, and 69.0 innings pitched. So basically, he's doing anything he hasn't done before.

He's also already had a ton of save opportunities. That number will come down since we won't continue at the pace we are now for the rest of the season.
