Parakhouski intrigues me a lot. Let's see the rest of SL, but he might be worth a roster spot or at least a spot on the preseason squad to see how he does against better NBA talent.

I'll let Erden mulligan this game in the mean time, no one else worth noting.

That he shot so many 3's was interesting to me--made me wonder if in his mind he's gunning for a power 3 slot. Certainly that seems the better opportunity on the Celtics for now unless Danny trades Baby. I could even see ol' Larry Bird as being something of his model.

I too am interested in Art and I'll let Erden slide until camp. I wonder if Danny also has Austin coaching toward the perimeter until they have a chance to decide on and sign up Art (or the other guy). Seems as if Lafayette is doing what he can to stay in the mix through camp at least as well.

I'm thinking more like Rodney Rogers ...

Loved watching Harangody and would have said that even if he didn't have such gaudy stats. OKC team was comprised of lots of guys just coming off the playoff series with the Lakers, and despite the obvious talent differential, Harangody was completely unfazed. He has a nose for the ball, and the rebound putback in the 4th quarter was a thing of beauty. He snuck by three OKC bigs to snag the rebound and got his shot up before any of them could react. He'll be a decent 10 minute a game guy.

Hope I'm wrong about Erdin, but he certainly looked like a big white stiff to me. My guess is that he will settle into his role as 12th man off the bench, while Parakhouski will enjoy a nice season in Europe.

Lafayette looked decent in the first half, but when the THunder stepped up the defense, he was helpless. If he makes the team, it will be as a deep sub. If Avery Bradley establishes himself early, Lafayette wil be gonzo.

Perhaps I am off my rocker but Harangody reminds me of Wally Szczerbiak in his movements, shoulders and Sonic the Hedgehog profile. The shot is more Matt Bonner-ish.

Too bad he doesn't have Matt's extra 2 1/2 inches for that shot.

After watching the game it is safe to say that.......

Harangody will have a role with us this season. He can do a lot of things.
Erden is terrible.
Lafayette, Green, and Carroll can play and one of Lafayette/Green will definately make the team.
Parakahouski is terrible.

Where's Wittman? And is he Randy Wittmans (of the late 80's Hawks) son?

Absolutely. Gody's got Gomes game. That's the first thing I noticed. A guy who can both bang and shoot who'll obviously have to do more shooting than banging in the NBA than he did in college. I don't see the C's passing on him. Very skilled.
