Looks like Jeff Bower has dropped out of the chase to replace Nets president Rod Thorn.

Hornets just issued a statement saying "it is not the right fit fo the Nets or myself."


Good news if this means that Marks and Presti are the 2 finalists

Bower is fine - just think Presti has proven he has a really good eye for drafting. Westbrook was a gutty pick but he knew he could fit him into the system. Made a great hire with Scott Brooks. Ibaka was a good pick. Maynor. Kristic was a smart pickup for that team. Basically just seems to make a lot of solid moves without using major resources which is going to be an important characteristic for whoever our new GM is. (assuming sooner rather then later we use our cap room).
