Haywood is crap. Trading Beasley for him is dumb unless they want to throw in Beaubois. Haywood will be an overpaid do nothing trash center with no offense who cant run in two years (probably be Shaq fat by then too). Beasley will actually be a good player and undoubtedly cheaper.

Heat fans obsession with Haywood is beyond perplexing. Haywood sucks guys. Especially at $10 million a year for 4 years (I would guess at least 4). I would rather lose Beasley for nothing or give him away for a 2nd round pick or just lose him completely than be forced to watch BRENDAN FRIGGIN HAYWOOD for 4 years in a Heat uniform knowing he is making $10 million a year for being a partially coordinated big tall fat goon who only scores because he can dunk and can only dunk the ball because he only has to jump an inch to dunk it and only catches the ball because sometimes he gets lucky it doesnt fly off his big fat dumb ogre hands.

I will actively root AGAINST Haywood if he ever wears a Heat uniform like I would root against Dalembert or Curry or Erica Dampier or Kwame Brown or Darko or Elton Brand or any other partially talented, seriously overpaid big man whose contracts are totally undeserved and they only get because they happen to be bigger than everyone else they play against. I hate their contracts, they rarely ever pan out and they eat up huge amounts of salary for little production. Haywood is a bum, if he was so good then why did he sit behind Dampier when both were healthy? If Haywood is not a serious upgrade over Erica Dampier, I am totally against paying his worthless azz $10 million a year to do nothing but stick up his hands and get rebounds because they fall into his gravitational orbit.

The only way Roddy ends up in Miami is if wade ends up in Dallas and if that was hte case, this would not be a Haywood rumor.

I can see Dallas being hesitant to include Beaubois but you are exaggerating also. He is a nice player but you would also be getting Michael Beasley who is younger and a much more productive player with much better numbers already. It is not out of this world for this happen.

5'11 is short? What has this world come to! Not everyone is a tall ball player!

No no, not his height. His facial and bone structure. He's got a touch of the midget face.

LOL! Whatever dude! I'm willing to bet anything you want that there is no way ion hell Beaubois is inolved in a trade for JO, Beasely or both.

And hesitant is not the word....GTFO is more like it.

Okay but where does he get his playing time?

With our rotations being

PF-Dirk(36)-O'neal(12)
SF-Marion(24)-Butler(24)

As you can see not much playing time would be left over for him ...

That is YOUR opinion and you are entitled to it. Either way, Beaubois only averaged 12mpg last season and had some nice numbers but not where you would demand Wade in a trade. You see how ridiculous that sounds?
Also, a PG he is not at this point in time. He is more of a small scorer. I understand the love affairs posters on these boards have for young players with "talent". We probably value Michael Beasley (the former #2 pick in 2008 draft) as much if not more. Agree to disagree.

I agree, I don't much room for Beasley unless Dallas has something else lined up. We are discussing the names that were brought up by a Dallas news paper, that is all.

Other names kicked about in this Miami Herald gossip: Utah with Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver. Oh, and the Miami paper tossed Roddy B in there, too, as if he’s interchangeable with JJB. A typo, or something.

Hey, if we’re gonna toss names randomly into Mavs-Heat talk, can’t we toss D-Wade’s in there, too?

little tidbit of an article about this trade....

You have the same problem with Beaubois now anyways. I dont see this trade happening but just saying, you have two PG's ahead of him on the depth chart now as it is too.

Umm no its not the same problem and what difference does that make it Beaubois still won't be included it will be Barea...By trading Barea it opens up all the backup PG minutes for Beaubois...

JJ Barea sucks dude. Both teams have to agree to a trade for it to happen not just you decide you want to unload Barea so Beaubois can get minutes and decide the Miami Heat want to do this trade.

I dont want Haywood. I doubt the Heat have any use for Barea. What is the reason to do this trade, so we can add an overpaid, old center who cant do much of anything good except cash his checks?

IDK i'd rather not do the trade at all and resign haywood....

And yes Barea sucks he's like a midget worse defending version of Iverson....Rarely passes the ball and dribbles around in circles literally lol

You don't seem to understand that trades work both ways and Miami doesn't care if you want to "open up minutes" for Roddy. We wouldn't want Barea, he's trash and Riles hates undersized PGs as it is.

I always root for him when I see him play. He is fun to watch when he catches fire... but I dont want him on my team :D

Worse part is we would probably see more people in our arena with Barea jerseys than Wade jerseys

How about you gift us Nowitzki, Beaubois, and Butler (Fan favorite down here)? :P

I agree w/you though, I can't see you letting go of Roddy for anybody on our roster sans Wade (Which of course we would never do).

No, we have the same problem with Terry and Barea. Cuban already went on record as saying he will start next year. Kidd and Terry both, ones who's minutes will suffer, have repeatedly said thoughout the year that Roddy should be on the floor way more often. Rick and fired were put in the same discussion because of his playing time. Roddy fills 2 of our 3 needs. Beaskley fills none.

So in short, no we don't have that problem with Beaubois.
