.....I love the idea of having Chalmers as a backup and giving Beasley a shot....

- Chalmers would fill the long time HUGE hole Jazz have at backup PG
- At first Beasley would be an excellent backup for Millsap; but if the Sloan can get his head straight he can be really good for years to come

Sign and trade with Korver should work, but I think the Heat would want some way to get Boozer involved, not Korver. If they do it for the 3 point recordman, then I'm all for it.

We have a new basement for playoff contract runs: In 117 brutal minutes over five games, O'Neal missed 35 of 44 shots, missed four of seven free throws, grabbed just 28 rebounds and nearly finished with a negative PER (2.8) ... and that doesn't begin to describe how poorly he played. I am not saying the jazz should go after him. I just see a huge list of complaints no matter what big man is mentioned.

As a backup O'Neal can be a good player. I understand that Milsap is on his way up and O'Neal is on his way down. but a 1-2 year stint would not hurt the Jazz for the right price. O'Neal cloggs the middle is that not what is needed? I think if O'Neal accept his role in the Jazz system I think his career could be extended.
