Then it likely isn't happening i would prefer us not doing the trade but if it doesn't involve Beasley which is practically the reason we are even considering the trade...it just won't happen.

Ya'll feel the same way except Beaubois won't be traded especially not in this trade.Beasley's been on the block for a while and nobody really wants him lol to tell ya the truth i don't know why we're interested at all. We should just keep Haywood.

How about you gift us Nowitzki, Beaubois, and Butler (Fan favorite down here)? :P

I agree w/you though, I can't see you letting go of Roddy for anybody on our roster sans Wade (Which of course we would never do).

Yup....

lol BUT if Wade was leaving and he wanted to go to Dallas would something around say Beaubois/Dojo picks interest ya'll at all? im guessing no but still haha

:D :D That would be cool with me. I hope Pat Riley and Mark Cuban feel the same way then and things are good for Mavs and Heat fans across the land.

Cuban said he wouldn't even trade Roddy for Joe Johnson, what makes people think he's going to give him up for a 32 yr old O'neal and Beasley? This is just a Miami Heat beat writer throwing names around without any knowledge of the specifics in the trade whatsoever. Heat fans are crazy if they think they're landing Roddy B in a trade like this. It's laughable.

That's it, bookmarking this thread. If Bohboy hasn't done anything special this time next year, bet your ass I'll be bumping it.

I didn't know the Dallas Morning News employed a Miami Heat beat writer.

Anthony Randolph: The sequel

“One player and a separate agent who have been directly involved in those discussions told The Miami Herald on Monday the Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz have talked about deals in which Miami would part with Heat free agent center Jermaine O'Neal or Beasley -- or both.

The Heat has met with Mavericks free agent center Haywood and Jazz power forward Boozer. It's possible the Heat would also seek a backup point guard from Dallas, with Rodrigue Beaubois and J.J. Barea both playing behind Jason Kidd.”

BACKUP PG-Barea

Probably a Starter-Beaubois

Possible....ONE of our two....Trust me i think he means Barea because we are not willing to give Beaubois up in this trade.

The rumor started from an ESPN insider article. Not Dallas Morning News who copied the info.

Dallas never mentioned the name Roddy Beaubois in any trade involving Beasley/O'neil. I'll say it again.... Mark Cuban rejected lottery picks for Roddy before the draft and publicly stated on July 1st that there was "no chance" Roddy would be traded for JOE JOHNSON. Cubes excepts the kid to be an all-star NEXT SEASON (he's on record saying this). It's just ridiculous that Heat fans would consider Roddy B part of a Beasley/Jermaine package.

So I guess the question was who had it 1st? Miami Herald to BSPN?

I know BSPN was before Dallas.

Oh, okay....

Miami slides that crap in the middle of a super long Wade story hoping it wouldn't catch wind nationally....

BSPN Re-wrote it in an insider article.

Dallas writer looking for story copies and paste that crap.

But yeah, there is nothing outside of Wade that we would part with Roddy for on the Heat roster.

So I was thinking, maybe we trade two future 2nd round picks for Beaubois + 3 million cash. That seems like a fair trade.

TRADING BEASLEY IS A HUGE MISTAKE this kid is not even in his late twenties . It took Michael Jordan 7 years to win one ring and a stacked team of Scottie Pippen And Rodman. If Miami gets Bosh Beasley can become our Rodman , Bosh our Scottie , and Wade our Jordan . Just have patience u guys :D
