what did he say?

He just said that he wouldn't be surprised at all if he signs with the Knicks but the way he said it made me a little nervous, and I would lmao if this happened.

If he was leaving, he wouldn't be announcing it on prime-time television to a national TV audience.

And btw if anyone cares Broussard is about to come on ESPN News and go into this further.

please let us know what he says

It's a done deal -- cle IMO. I don't see him doing otherwise on tv.

IMO we just gotta pressure wade/bosh. sell them on this roster.

I don't know if it's the city of MIami that's more alluring or Riley? But can they find a better roste rin the NBA aside from maybe the Lakers if both come here?

Id put my money on Cleveland (90%) or maybe New York (10%) right now. Both of those are better than him joining Wade in Miami though.....

theanimal23 wrote:With the past 2 years, I have questioned many moves by the Bulls. Many. Even considering that we have Deng's contract on the roster, the Bulls have still done a marvelous job of setting ourselves up this summer to add one or two marquee players. Yet, for the life of me, I cannot understand why the elite would hesistate on coming here. Perhaps my problem is I'm looking at it in a vacuum as basketball reasons. Could they find a better young roster to join? Rose and Noah is enough said. For Bosh and Wade, consider Deng @ SF and it is arguably the best roster in the league. For LeBron, add himself and Boozer, and ditto.

This free agency could be a failure but I for one will not critique the Bulls front office. It's a shame that Deng's contract has limited us from having two Max slots. But that said, I don't think that is a deal-breaking issue. A S&T would resolve that. I don't see Riley S&T Wade. And I don't think anyone outside LeBron would take the 5 year deal (out of the Big 3).

Just sucks.

In the end, the money will always win. This probably proves two things.

1) There will be a lockout next summer, that is plain as day

2) Building thru the draft and smart trading is the way to go. Even a big 3 in Miami has holes in it because it has 3 max players and 9 minimum salary guys. You also have to be lucky, we got lucky with Rose, now we need to build smartly around him.

The Bulls, Heat, Knicks and Nets can't be left to sit idle for days while Lebron and ESPN plan their dog & pony show as free agents -- potentially Lebron supporting cast member free agents -- disappear from the market.

Cleveland on the other hand isn't adding anything, so it doesn't matter how long Lebron makes them wait.

This whole thing was a sham.

Lebron is definitely going to Cleveland IMHO. There is no way he'd do a 1 hour special with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs while announcing that he is going to devastate a city. No way in hell

I am now seriously concerned that it will be Boozer and Reddick/Korver as our FA signings/acquisitions. GarPax will be virtually lynched across the internet if this happens. Bosh will go to Miami with Wade and we'll be stuck.

Bah, I think GarPax did what they could, but the stars were not aligned on this one. We need Rose to step up to elite level to lead us to a deep playoff run. You gotta figure the Cavs, Heat, Magic and Celtics will all have similar or better records than us this coming year. The East is looking more like the West...you could win 48-49 games and miss the playoffs...

Broussard just said on ESPN News

- That James inter circle contacted ESPN about doing an hour long special.
- No way Bosh goes the Cleveland and that may put a dent in the chances
- Knicks very much alive made a big push
- Bulls still alive
- Don't know where Lebron will make his choice

I feel like that's what's happening, and that would rule out the Knicks. And if it's true that Bosh didn't want to play in Cleveland, that would rule them out too.

Again, I'm terrified of the superfriends. That would be the absolute diaster of all disasters

Maybe.

Most likely choice IMO is then Cleveland. Bosh somehow is convinced to rot in the city of CLE and takes the S&T there. Tor/Cle already have a deal agreed to pending Bosh.

Otherwise they come here. I don't see both going to Miami. No one's ego will allow them to take a pay cut. If that was the case, you'd expect a mega signign special.

I would hope they'd come to Chicago, but wouldn't this leak out by now?
