I wouldn't put it past him. He could turn it into something cool but just reading the press release makes it sound like douchebaggerie.

What's the point of even watching? If the press conference is in Akron, you can pretty much assume his decision is made for Cleveland. It's not like he's gonna sit there and announce he's off to Miami at the conference, hop on a jet amidst thousands of angry fans and fly off with his middle finger in the air...

And he's donating all the profits from the hour long special to the Boys and Girls Club.

What an idiot...

Seriously cut the guy a break.

People who demonize celebrities are just as big of schmucks as those who deify them. Someone at work today seemed so happy Lohan was going to jail. Seriously, who cares either way.

Well looks like Bosh and Wade are teaming up in Miami. Wonder what this means for Bron? NY maybe now that they have Amare? Or does he go to Chicago to join Rose and Noah.

It's really cool that a good organization is going to benefit from this, but let's not act like that's the reason he's doing it. It's exclusively to serve his own ego. Whether there's anything WRONG with that is debatable point, but I don't think it's in question that this is a direct result of his unfathomable narcissism.

Woj can be pretty worthless sometimes, but that sums it up pretty well. LeBron James is spiritually bankrupt.

I won't be found anywhere near ESPN during that clown show. I have lost a TON of respect for LeBron this off-season. I don't think anyone could be more ego-centrist than he is.

People are saying that they don't think LeBron would have an hour special just to announce that he is staying in Cleveland but I think that's exactly what will happen. If I was a Cavs fan (a real one) and he left, I'd be really pissed if he had to do it with all of this hoopla. I would think he is the biggest douche ever for that.

He's staying in Cleveland is my bet.

Lebron couldn't get attention by winning a title so he is trying to win the free agency war. He apparently has more ego than anybody else in an egocentric league. I'm not sure I would want to win that contest.

James took having an ego to amazing, supersonic levels that could only be dreamed about. It'll be poetic justice if he never wins a championship, or even makes it back to the Finals.
