It's like a blind person insulting a midget for being so small. In this case I would rather be blind, err Timberwolves fan.

I would suspect the Wolves and Raps will both be in the lottery next summer.

Without comparing the talent on either team, both of Turkoglu and Calderon's contracts drag the Raptors below the Wolves. For reference, Minnesota's current 2nd highest earner is Martell Webster at 4.8mil while Hedo is earning 9.8mil, Calderon 9mil and even Bargnani is getting 8mil.

Also factor in Jose is turning 29 and Hedo just turned 31. They aren't likely to get too much better before they start getting worse.

TOR fans had the pleasure of watching Chris Bosh for several years, and they did their best to build a team around him to compete in the play-offs. They did what they were supposed to do, but came up short. Now it looks like they are going to have to rebuild, which means adding youth, draft picks, and moving longterm salary on veterans. MIN is just a lot farther down the road in rebuilding than TOR, and I would much rather have the MIN roster.

Winner winner. I didn't say our direction was any better.

why would or better should the Raptors do that? I mean I'd be happy for Ryan to get such a contract but shouldn't they give Hedo ~40 minutes a night to get his value somehow up again? and even at the 4 spot they have Bargnani (who I think should play PF with Bosh in all likelihood gone) and Amir Johnson.

Don't think it's legit. It'll be interesting to see how much a team eventually pays him though. With all the money being thrown around this off-season, I wouldn't be surprised if he got the full mle.
