Mike and Mike think LeBron maybe goes to Miami now.

To me, that sounds weird, since Wade and Bosh just stole the thunder for Miami.

If that were to happen you would figure all three would wait and announce it together.

I've always been fine with Boozer or Lee and a real SG that can nail the 3 like a Miller. Just lock one of those guys up and fill the team out. It will still be Rose and Noah's team but adding another All Star calibre player will help them tremendously. Like has been said, unless LeBron goes yo Miami (I can't see that happening for a lot of reasons) then I'm fine with this scenario. I'd rather see the Bulls beat these egomaniacs than cater to them anyway. They can't be shutout of a PF though. They need one of Boozer/Lee because it's been a problem for the Bulls since forever.

I'd actually be pretty surprised if the Bulls don't have Lee or Boozer in hand by Thursday.

Any other scenario, including LeBron to NYK is not really that threatening. Nor is it a lock for the championship.

Let's not forget that we have 2 holes to fill in SG and PF and there are still starter quality players and in some cases all-stars available to fill these spots still.

We could load the bench and go back to hard nosed Bulls basketball.....or we could wait until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. Either way we are still OK as long as the triumvirus does not happen in Miami.

Btw, I was always concerned with D-Wade; he is too slick and too fickle to be trusted.

this! can't wait to get boozer and or lee and be that 50 win - 2nd round team. I'm so excited!!!!

Boy, take that shyt outta here.

You want to talk basketball without estrogen induced histrionics, then let's talk.

Calm the **** down.

okay talk. that's what we are going have.

Well! There's still a chance we could get Lebron... If not, we at least have to get our scoring four.

I phucking hate Pat Riley. Those two are going to rot in Miami. Have fun playing in front of those 7,000 fans!

watch out for New York now. I don't know how good Lebron thinks Amare is but since he is willing to take him or Bosh then NY might be in a better situation then Chicago. Hope not

+1

Wouldn't have minded having one of these guys, but I sure won't mind beating them. And I bet D-Rose and Noah feel the same way -- and those 2 guys will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Let's give them some help.

Not a big surprise. Hopefully we can get a deal done soon with Boozer/Lee. This feels like a failure given that our expectations were so high but it's not as bad as it seems (I hope).

Pissing away a draft pick and a number of good players for this seems to be a terrible off season to me.

I completely agree. If LBJ stays in Cleveland and we are able to get Boozer/Lee + Miller/Allen, then we are a top four team in the East. I don't really see one team that is the clear cut best in the East. Miami and New York still have a lot of holes to fill, Boston is getting older and might lose Allen, Orlando is great but they haven't been able to get over the hump, and Cleveland doesn't really have much room to improve.

Would you rather see them try and possibly fail though? Because that's the best we can hope for right now if we don't get Lebron.

I agree though, that this is going to light a fire under D Rose.

Well, this kinda sucks...

We will see if we get Bron or not....but I'm not going to think about it too much.

If we don't get Bron, we pretty much dumped Kirk and the #17 pick for NOTHING. That is the part that stings.

We will still be able to use the money we cleared from Kirk for a younger, better fitting SG.

I like Lee more than Boozer, because Lee improved his jump shot radically last season and now apparently he's looking to increase his range to 3-pointers, I think he has big potential and could be a dominant scorer plus his rebounding is great. Boozer is not as versatile.

well we had the chance and it was close, but who knows what Bron does now. At least it really starts now. All the pressure on Bron. Does he choose to join them or chase them with Cleveland or with us? Or something completely different. Let's keep up the spirit and hope Bron does come here!

We better see sometime today that the Bulls signed Boozer or Lee.... With Bosh and Wade gone we can us that 13.4 or 13.8 whatever it is on one of them now.

Also Broussard isn't even mentioning the Bulls anymore in the LBJ talk

I know people love to panic, but what if this story isn't true?
Because if I learned anything during the FA period, it is that I want to punch somebody in the face everytime I hear or read the word "source".

If we don;t get LBJ you cant spin this offseason to be good no matter what.

Let's say we get Boozer and JJ Redick...

Is that worth a first rounder, hinrich, tyrus, salmons and ben gordon? Cause thats what we gave up for that opportunity.
