So once again, the assumption is made that if he were signed, the Wolves would have no other moves planned and would merely go with 3 PG's and 4 next year ... ??? The whole media logic is totally desperate to create sentences.

Wouldn't it be nice to, just once, have a rumor that made sense? Maybe Kahn is a mad scientist and his plan will eventually make sense but I think my head is going to explode before that happens.

Just speculation, but if this has any legs, I could see a S&T involving Al and Flynn for Lee and Chandler. Not sure if NY would have any interest in Sessions as Douglas seems to match his production, while being much better from the 3pt line.

I'm starting to think he just likes to mess with the Knicks and Donnie Walsh and that's fine by me.

Oh, what's that you're interested in Luke Ridnour? Ok, then let me be the first to cal him up and increase his value.

All part of Kahn's master plan.

P.S. It's worth noting that Ridnour did share the backcourt with Jennings a lot last year. Hmm....

Now if we didn't already have two PG and Rickie Rubio on the way I would love the signing of Luke Ridnour.Maybe like some have said we can package Jefferson/Sessions or Jefferson/Flynn now in a trad deal.

Still think like I always due that the Wolves wont sign anyone one good i.e Ridnour is going someplace else i.e Knicks or maybe Heat.

Of course Knick fans have turned this rumor into somehow believing that a Lee-Rubio sign and trade is about to happen. ROFL.

:rofl2:

What due you think the Wolves would sign him and start him at SG,I hope not if the due somehow sign Ridnour he needs to be our starting PG this season and Flynn or Sessions needs to be moved right away.Hopefully if we sign Ridnour we can package a deal of Jefferson/Flynn or Jefferson/Sessions to the Pacers and get our man Danny Granger.

I'd like to see this happen.

Wolves Out
Al
Sessions
Wolves In
Beasley
Mia 1st
Tor 1st
Mia In
Bosh
Mia Out
Beasley
'11 or '12 first round pick
Tor OutBosh
'11 or '12 first round pick
Tor In
Sessions
Al

We then sign Ridnour to a contract... I'd be o.k. with only 1 draft pick from Miami. All teams do well - MN clears cap space and adds a potential stud, Tor replaces Bosh and Mia gets piece two of the possible three headed monster.
We have to do the impossible, but it is possible.

from espn:
Brendan Haywood tops the center list for Miami and they may choose between Raymond Felton and Luke Ridnour at point guard.

Kahn must be trying to get an asset, maybe to acquire Beasley or s&t for Lee

If Kahn is looking to flip Ridnour, it seems pretty risky and may not be plausible depending on the situation.

I wonder if the rumor of Beasley for Gomes was at all true.

 That doesn't even make sense. What, were looking to sign a 3rd string PG immediately because we would be trading the rights to a PG that wouldn't be on our team next season anyway?

To be fair, IMO, Ridnour is a much better fit for this offense then Sessions. If we have a pre-arranged deal that involves Sessions then looking at Ridnour makes a lot of sense. He is a much, much better shooter, he is a vet, and played the 20min role with Jennings last year.

82% of his shots are jumpers, and he makes 54% of them. Those are nice triangle numbers.

btw, I am not sure if you can sign a FA and flip him.

ok, so if we are looking at Ridnour there are only 2 possible conclusions.

1.) We are interested, thus Sessions or Flynn is gone. Ridnour would not be seen as a late FA bargin considering the timing.

2.) We are trying to make another team bite on him.

Any ideas why we would want this to happen?

1) Interested team uses up cap space, so they can't sign someone the wolves really want
2) Interested team needs cap space to sign Ridnour thus creating the need for more favorable wolves trades

Anything else?

Maybe he wants someone to bite so that they won't have enough room for a pf so we can give them Al? seems like a lot of what ifs. The only one I'd wanna trade Al to is NJ so we could grab Favors but Al and Sessions doesn't make alot of sense since they have Harris though does it?
