Yes he was, and the Kocur/Probert tandem was ridiculous. I dont think we will ever see so much toughness together on one team ever again

I agree completely. Probert's time with the Wings was over before I started to really get into hockey and become a Red Wings fan, but I just loved that guy. I loved his toughness, heart and loyalty to his teammates. From everything I have been told by some of my American friends, he was a really good guy off the ice as well. The Probert/Kocur tandem, as you said, was insane. I'm amazed that other teams had the balls to actually step onto the ice to face us. If I was a player and I saw a team with those guys in it, I'd be like "ummm... maybe we should just not show up tonight and let them win by default".
