If the Heat sign Lebron it surely ends Beasley's days in Miami. They need to fill out their roster though, with SG, SF and PF being set in stone. They might be desperately looking for a defensive rebounding C. How about Dalembert? I know the Kings have Casspi and Greene at sf, but wouldnt Beasley basically give you one of the sickest 2-5 line ups in the league?
Evans
Beasley
Thompson
Cousins
I could see Miami knock on your door to inquire about Sammy. I doubt Sacramento has all those big guys in their plans for the next 2 years? I'm not sure if they could work out something to make the moneything work out, but it's interesting imo.

Re: How would Beasley look in Sactown?
Sam has 1 year left .. I'm sure pending Cousins development Sac will keep him this year. Beasley no thanks .. we don't need another SF, between Greene, Casspi, Garcia we do not need Beasley. I wasnt opposed to this guy when the talk came around at draft time.... but personally I think even less on it as time has gone along .. poor guy has to many issues let alone the tweener problems. Our only need is a back up PG IMO ... unless Garcia isnt back to old form .. then another shooter..
I do wish you the Best of Luck with trying to get Value on a give away project.

Re: How would Beasley look in Sactown?
I admit that Beasley's lingering draft-hyped potential makes me semi-want him. But realistically, at this point I don't see Beasley's future much brighter than Greene's or Casspi's. I honestly see the Raptors the best place for Beasley due to the talent-ridden team Bosh left behind. I think their fan base would embrace his potential.

Re: How would Beasley look in Sactown?
I honestly don't want Beasley anywhere near this team for 2 huge reasons:
#1: Let me preface this by saying I'm confident in the Kings ability to take on troubled players and have it work out in the end and that the red flags with Whiteside & Cousins are both overblown. That said, Beasley also comes with some major red flags and, at the end of the day, I don't think you can just keep adding possible problem children to this team and hope they ALL work out.
#2: Beasley is pretty much the polar opposite of the direction this team is going. He's not a good rebounder and he's a truly awful defender (2 things the Kings are looking to improve upon big time).

Beasley is a guy that I wouldn't target as anything but a cheap expiring.
His on court upside is generally reduced by his attitude and other issues.
If Miami wants to basically dump him, maybe, but I wouldn't give anything I really cared about having for him.

I'm not sure there is a place for Beasley on this roster. I don't particularly like him at the SF position for this Kings team, and we already have four very capable bigs to man the front line. I was never sold on Beasley as an elite level prospect anyways, so turning this one down is pretty easy. Put all the character concerns that have transpired on top of that, and it makes it even easier.

Nope. Not now. Not worth the risk. I don't want anybody even possibly poorly influencing Boogie at all--or Hassan for that matter. We've got plenty of talent. Keep him out of here.

Not in the least bit interested in Beasley.
He's a cancer looking for a place to grow.
Also not interested in helping Miami cement their "superteam". Let them try and go find their own role-players. Good luck!
