Adande: Boozer to Bulls a done deal

Post#1 » by Esohny » Wed Jul 7, 2010 8:56 pm

One more PF off the market. Jefferson is quickly becoming one of the last remaining options for teams who need a post player.

Chad Ford claims it's 5 years, 80 million.

I hope and pray that Lee resigns in New York right away. Then NJ will give us Favors for Al+Brewer?

Great news.

Bosh to MIA and now Boozer to CHI.

Al Jefferson's trade value has just grown exponentially.

That's also one less trade destination for Big Al. I imagine it's between us and the Nets now for Lee. Al to Dallas seems most likely, that is, if he's going to be traded at all.

Lee will not sign in NY. Remember the Amare thing?

I still don't know why NJ would give up on Favors. Are the Nets hoping that getting Al will lure a star player/FA?

Great for us, it will stop all those bulls fans from demanding we take Deng for Al :)

The new Russian owner probably would like to win now. Favors is a project, and he's not looking very good at all in Summer League.

Yeah its between Us and NJ for Lee.

Right now, I would say the edge goes to NJ. without any trades, NJ has a wide open spot for Lee next to a young up and coming center in Lopez.

Lee to the Suns is an option, isn't it? He replaces a decent amount of Amare's production (more rebounds) for less money. And since they're used to Amare, they wouldn't notice his complete lack of defense.

Playing for us in our fun-run system under the player-hugger Rambis would be a lot more appealing to a lot of players than playing in NJ for Johnson and Mitchell. That could help us.

I would have thought so before the Warrick signing. Do they really want $23M/year tied up in Frye, Warrick, and Lee, all of whom are offensive oriented PF's?

OK - time to see if we can fill the contending Jazz with young Al Jefferson + ?? for Kirilenko and some nice assets.

Be back in twenty!

So lets figure this out a bit.

Knicks- PF set (Amare)
Heat- PF set (Bosh)
Bulls- PF set (Boozer)
Suns- PF Set (Frye)
Raptors- PF Set (Johnson)
Jazz- PF Set (Millsap)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nuggets- PF unsure (K-Mart) He's not in the form he once was.
Rockets- PF unsure (Scola) They were in talks with Bosh, maybe they want more.
Nets- PF unsure (Favors) Do they still want to win now if they can not get Lebron?
Cavs- PF unsure (Jamison) I assume they will stay the course, but they were looking at Bosh in a S&T
Mavs- PF unsure (Nowitzki) they might look to set up Jefferson at C. Move Dampier.
Magic- PF unsure (Lewis) He plays more like a SF. I believe they would not make a move for a PF though.
Bobcats- PF Unsure (Thomas FA) If they lose Ty Thomas they will be in need of a PF.
Hawks- PF unsure (Smith/Horford) Depends on getting a C to move Horford to PF or not I suppose.

What other teams can we add that needs a PF and would need the services for Jefferson? Or we know won't based off transactions this summer?

I don't think the Warrick signing official or is it? Maybe the Suns could decide not to sign him if they got Lee.

I think you can add denver, detroit, houston, orlando, and maybe charlotte to that list. Or offer al for josh smith in atlanta ;-)

how viable is josh smith really. Is it just Atlanta is shopping him, or do we have some sort of knowledge that they are actually interested in Big Al or Love for that matter>
