I agree, Boozer in Chicago is more than a consolation prize IMO. He is a double-double next to Noah plus it gives them another scoring option in the paint. I am not impressed with their SG or SF position but with that type of money, they could still get some nice role players.

If Boozer got 5yrs/$80M that means his starting salary is about $13M. Thus leaving the Bulls with one max slot of $16.5M.

Not only are they a damn strong team with Rose-Boozer-Deng-Noah already (I say 53 wins), but if LeBron signed for that max slot it would be catastrophic for us. At the least, even if LeBron doesn't sign there, they'll have $16M to spend on some nice role players to go with that core.

I on't think Bron is going there, but getting Boozer at $13M and still having a max slot left is a pretty good deal for them IMO.

Clearly, the Bulls were not going to do anything that would eliminate their ability to give LeBron the max. Can you imagine if he announced tomorrow that he wanted to go there and they had to tell him, "sorry, we only have $13 million to give you." They needed a PF with or without LeBron and Boozer and Lee are the only really good ones left. That deal for Boozer is about what he should be getting if guys like Stoudamire, Johnson and Gay are max guys.

He's still a great fit for the Bulls and signed there at a good prize. If they don't land LeBron, they'll still be able land Ray Allen who could be a perfect next to Rose.

LOL How exactly would that be catastrophic(If Lebron signed there)?

We have Dwyane Wade. A establised assassin in the Post-season (when healthy). I could care less if Bron signs there or not. Bron had a good enough team this past year to make ATLEAST a Finals appearance/Get out of the Eastern Conference, and he faltered badly. Had one of the biggest choke sessions ever in Game 5 against Boston.

When the playing field is even in terms of talent, or even close enough. I'll take no. 3 anyday.

Yeah, but kind of aging. So is kind like a double edge sword, good short term acquisition, but might be a long term bust. But yeah, chicago could be a pretty good team, top 4 in the East, if Bron moves out Cleveland.

I swear these clowns in the media. Still haters. JA Adande, Ric Bucher etc. etc..

They realy believe that Wade and Bosh are going to be the only players on our roster. SMH. Just downright clowns without the makeup...Can they open their eyes? We still have 12 million to work with. And BOTH our stars have came out and said the money isn't the motive, and that there willing to leave some on the table.

Wade + Bosh, I'm looking foward to the next season. If we keep Beasley, I think that Spoelstra will play Beasley at 4 and Bosh at 5 for long periods, so its critical to sign a good SF and a PG that knows how to deliver the ball at right time to the right player.

Bozzer is great addition for their team hes a great guy that can put up good numbers. But the thing is their front court is going to be heavily undersized.

Bosh said countless times that he doesn't want to play center, as a result I believe that prior to agreeing with heat spo and riles assured him the PF spot is his. That means its either 6th man or trade bait for beas.

That trade is going tocome back to haunt them. Guranteed. Kirk Hinrich was the only player on the Bulls roster capable of staying infront of Wade defensivly. Who the hell is going to TRY (and I do mean TRY) to prevent Wade from droppping 40 on them suckas, now?

Scott Skiles and Kirk Hinrich aren't walking thru that door.

Bosh is playing PF. maybe center in certain situations but NOT for extended periods.

the rumors of our interest in Haywood are real.

honeslty though I would rather go with Joel/DexPitt/Big Kat and see if Pittman is good enough to be our version of KPerkins.

then we dont waste $ on a center.

go out get the best 3rd option player available, some shooters, a setup man at PG and lets go to work.

Bosh has said he's not playing Center.

... Because D-Rose + LeBron + Deng + Boozer + Noah >>> Wade + Bosh + $11M

If you don't agree with that, well that's OK. I love my Heat more than anybody, but common sense tells me that the Bulls lineup is far stonger.

Still, Bron probably isn't going there, so hopefully this won't even be an issue. Regardless, I think Boozer fits the Bulls very well, especially at $13M.

Hey so Toronto mod sent me pm saying I was warned because I said we wouldn't trade Beas and they can't have the 1st back but Chalmers is all theirs. Then I was told I was flagged here for taunting Toronto fans but no heat mod contacted me.

I am so bad ass

 Don't mess with them, its that time of year when all of them go through the Post Riley Syndrome, after we rip them off once again.
