Boozer has absolutely NO LOYALTY. Not to Cleveland, not to the Jazz. He was trying to leave Utah last season, but opted to stay because teams were too cheap to pay what he wanted in anticipation of 2010. All Boozer cares about is financial security, and I doubt he'll ever apologize for what he did to Cleveland. I wonder how Lebron feels about him? I remember when Boozer first left the Cavs, players around the league said they respected his decision, because it was indeed a "business decision." He was just wrong in the way he went about it. I think maybe at the time, he wasn't looking foward to being viewed as some young kid's (Lebron's) future sidekick. He went to the Jazz to be their franchise player. Plus, second round picks don't make anything close to the kind of money as lottery picks.

Boozer's priorities seem to be:
1. MONEY
2. WINNING

He'll get both if he goes to Cleveland. Sorry Utah fans, but Deron Williams is right. The Jazz will never improve with the same roster every year. It's time for Utah to start making some changes too. They've found a stud in Matthews, now they need to replace Boozer, and Kirilenko.

him snaking his way out of cleveland was a complete shock...who knows how the cavs future would have unfolded with boozer filling that second banana role?

i'd probably need some sort of explanation from boozer, but if he wants to and the front offices can work something out (unlikely), i'd reluctantly bring him back in the fold

^His explanation is simple, he was chasing $$$.

The same reason he would come here again, he can get a max contract in S&T you better believe he would chase the money without hesitation.

Personally I think paying Boozer a max deal is overpaying, his D sucks and he is injured every damn season. He would also inevitably get punked by taller players like Gasol if we made it to the Finals against LA.

It's not like Cleveland is without blame on that situation. They agreed to let him out so he would sign a mid level exception deal, which was way under Boozer's market value, probably half of the contract they'd have to give him the following year after one more big year. So they saw an opportunity to look like they were helping him out by really helping themselves out, and they got burned. Lesson learned, don't give up your advantage, don't get greedy. It's a shame it happened, both parties are to blame.

Then you just play out your contract and don't beg to be let out of it.

He struck a deal with cleveland that would be mutually benificial for both partys. Boozer would get more money faster and be financially secure. Cleveland would have a good power forward locked down for the future. After Cleveland did their favor he reniged on his. Thats bush league.

I am a Bucks fan and just wanted to pass on my regards. All small market teams are in the same boat. Be thankful that your team has a new arena and isn't staring at being moved. Good luck next year.
