Done.

And I wouldn't mind getting in on a S+T for Haywood.

Kapono for Gortat would be Solid for us. What does everyone think about that one?

It would take a lot more than Kapono to get Gortat wouldn't it?

I dont see any reason why Orlando would say no. Im sure they would like to add a sharpshooter like Jason, Gortat is overpaid for only 14 mpg. As for us? He's not a good offensive player, but in our situation is actually fine, we have other scoring options - defence is our focus, additionally he's a hardworker, gives hustle like hell - starter no prob. He would definitly fill the gap that Dalembert left.

He wants to start and he definitely could start here unless Hawes has really improved.

But they probally could find better deals for him.

It really depends from what Orlando wants ... but as I said - if Reddick goes somewhere else, they will be looking for a guy like Jason. And he's safe - final contract, so if it doesnt workout, no damage.

dude, no way the Magic do that.

You have to realize that Gortat maybe their only trade chip to improve their team. Specially after the Bulls and the Heat has vastly improve their team compared to last season.

I don't think he and Brand can play together, but I'm not sure you pass up a talent like Jefferson if you can get him for .10 on the dollar.

I know how unpopular Al is on this board, but for a combo of either Green/Nocioni or Kapono/Smith, can you pass him up?

I personally would do Green, Kapono, and Smith for Him. Or any combination of 2 of them and Nocioni. Throwing in a few 2nds is the most incentive I'd add though.

I am down with your Jefferson deal, since we would buy low, knowing Minnesota wants to unload him, but of course they would deney it.

I havent been on the fantasy trade thread in a while. But i thought of a small trade today while watching the summer league game.

Would anyone be interested or think its a fair value trade both ways to do Lou Williams to the Thunder for Eric Maynor and BJ Mullens?

We at the moment have Green, Meeks, Thad, Speights, and Lou as the main guys off the bench with nocioni. but those 5 guys i mentioned are all basically scorers. what they are best at is scoring. So we give up one of thosein Lou to get a PG in Maynor whos young and can run the show for the 2nd unit the way he did in OKC this year plus another big body who can be a good project for us and who we were interested in in last years draft.

Thunder really have no scorers off there bench with Harden likely moving to the starting lineup this year. Plus they got Aldrich to add to Kristic, Collison, and Ibaka so playing time for Mullens would be scarce to none anyway. Seems fair to me both ways just wondering what you guys thought?

Salaries don't match up I don't think. Not a good deal for either team in my personal opinion. Lou is a legit scoring option off the bench - a perfect combo guard 6th man. He can give some minutes as a back up PG and he can play off the ball with Holiday sometimes guarding the two. Maynor is back up PG. That's his upside. He isn't a great shooter, defender, or scorer. He's a no frills, little mistake back up PG. He was a 4 year senior and his upside is fairly limited. He is not a great option behind Holiday because he doesn't give Sixers any extra dimension. Mullens wouldn't be able to get on the court for the Sixers. Speights and Smith would be ahead of him and then he would become a free agent. Not to say he doesn't have upside, because he does. He's just not a great fit for us right now. As for the Thunder, they don't really need a scoring combo guard as much because they don't lack for scoring and with Westbrook already being a bit of a combo guard in the starting line-up, Maynor has more value to them as the only pure passing PG on the roster and Mullens has future upside when Krstic comes off the books or is moved. It's not a bad idea, it's just not a great fit. If Harden indeed moves into the starting line-up, of which I'm not 100%, the Thunder can use their cap flexibility to sign a veteran scorer off the bench. They also just traded for Daequan Cook to be the designated shooter off the bench and Ibaka should be able to provide some more scoring. If Aldridge starts, Krstic will also provide some scoring off the bench as a stretch 5. They have some options. That's a very nice looking young team. Presti is a fabulous GM.

Trade ID #5599429

76ers Trades:
Andre Iguodala
Louis Williams

76ers Receives:
Al Horford
Jamal Crawford (expiring)

Hawks Trades:
Al Horford
Jamal Crawford

Hawks Receives:

Johnny Flynn
Al Jefferson

T-Wolves Trades:
Johnny Flynn
Al Jefferson

T-Wolves Receives:
Andre Iguodala
Louis Williams

Why for the 76ers:
76ers get a much needed low post presence at the defensive end, with Horford. They also got some cap relief with J-Craws' expiring.

76ers:

Jrue Holiday
Evan Turner
Thaddeus Young
Al Horford
Spencer Hawes

Why for the Hawks:
Hawks get their future PG in Flynn and also got a big presence down low who can compliment Josh Smith's shot blocking ability, with his size and rebounding, in Al Jefferson.

Hawks:

Johnny Flynn
Joe Johnson
Marvin Williams
Josh Smith
Al Jefferson

Why for the TWolves:

They got two 17-18 ppg players in Iggy and Lou Williams. Iggy fits their triangle offense with his ability to facilitate their offense. While Lou Williams gives them an 18ppg combo guard who can fit in the PG position while Rubio is soul searching in Spain.

TWolves:

Lou Williams (18ppg)
Andre Iguodala (17ppg)
Wesley Johnson
Kevin Love
Darko Milicic.

Mhhmm... another PF ... and we lose Iggy ... but this I like the best to be honest, although we end up with no all-star presence. Bunch of roleplayers stacked together.

Orlando would not make that deal. If Miami wants Kapono for a 2nd round pick, I would hang up the phone. :D

Are you serious? Dumping Kapono means we'd be able to use the full MLE this year if we wanted. It's not like he's going to get more than 15 mpg at best, so why spend 6.65 million on him? Heck, we can get the real version and spend the MLE on Korver.

Ummmm... no. If we dump Kapono for nothing, I say lets get Brendan Haywood or something close* to him. Dont be ridiciolous with Korver.
*by saying close, Im not saying Joe Smith or Kurt Thomas ...

The 76ers need to find out if Andrew Bynum is available in a trade. If Bynum is available I would have to work him out for a week checking out his lateral quickness and of course sending him to 3 doctors. The 76ers have to do something big to combat what Miami has done. Back to work Ed!
