PG-Stephenson/Price/Ford(if not traded)

PF-Rolle/Hansbrough/Mcbob/Murphy(Dunleavy,Murphy,SJones and Foster are IR or bench due to 1 yr remaining)
C -Hibbert/Mcbob(coming in for either position for strength)/Foster/SJones

If you look at the bright side, we have Granger being the oldest starter. WHAT A FUTURE!

There is no longer an IR in the NBA, hasn't been one for a couple of seasons now.

Why would you bench the guys with expiring contracts when that would drive their trade value way down?

Price is injured as of now and his recovery/rehab could take him into the end of November (6 months was the longest period of recovery). The Pacers can't count on him being a factor until probably January.

Has there ever been a team in the NBA start 3 rookies?

Josh is definitely a PF if not a Center when plaing small ball. He cannot and should play the SF position (rarely, only if he can play defense on the smaller player?)

With this said, I cannot understand the logic of making Josh a 3 point shooter. Let's try to understand:

Is Josh a Troy replacement?
Will we run plays for Josh in a game for 3 point shot?
What benefit is there?????????????????????????????????????????

I hope some statistician looks up the TOP 10 PF's in the league and reveals the 3 point shooting numbers. (Attempts, Made, %, etc) Even in an uptempo style like Phoenix, NY; does the PF have a 3 pt range?? Take a look also at the TOP ten ranked teams in the league to rate their PF 3pt shot.

Just imagine if Carlise, Brown, Bird as coaches had Dale Davis and AD taking 3 point shots for improvement.

I do NOT understand. Someone please help me.

1986-87 Cleveland right? Daugherty and Price and Hotrod Williams? Am I right? Or wait, did Ron Harper start for them?

I know there's no IR in the NBA now or for the past few seasons. Just said it to put something down quick instead of trying to remember the new title of it. Thank you for the education.

Like I said prior, if we are not keeping the expiring contracts then we need to move forward with our draftees and young core players. I wish we could resign Murphy, but we won't pay the cost I'm sure.

Again, O'Brien needs to go. Our starting lineup from last year didn't get the job done other than dropping our lottery pick down several slots at the end of the season during their run.

I think Mcbob is chucking up threee during the summer league for practice. I think our offense will run through Granger, Hibbert and hopefully George and Stephenson once the regular season starts.

From what the coach was saying he likes how Murphy spreads the floor for Hibbert with his 3-point capablility. I'm banking he wants Mcbob to step up and help in that same-type role. I would definitely say that Mcbob is not a Troy replacement though. Murphy has been a shooter since birth!...lol

Why would we resign Murphy. He is a cancer to the team. He rebounds because he fights with his own teamates over them and he sits around the 3pt line on offense most of the time settin picks that somebody paralyzed could get around. He is the definition of counter-productive. He scores 15 a game, but plays no defense. His lack of defense has to result into atleast 25 points from the other team. Why would you want to resign that for even the minimum?

Well its actually JOB, who has to go..
Josh just did what he was told by our beloved coach. Unfortunately Jimmy doesn`t adjust to the players and their strengh, but insists on his idiotic style and forces the players to do things that are not their primary weapons.
Kind of pathetic to watch this nonsense. I mean 13 three's by McBob - u cannot be serious
GO 4 IT PACERS ! ! ! Our Passion and Pride will stand

J-Mac is a way cooler nickname than McBob.

I was refering to the "PF must be able to shoot 3's in this team" mentality from JOB. That's just stupid.

it may be stupid, but if it is it is JOB being stupid and not Dunthreevy.

personally, I think Josh had a bad game and bounced right back. I hardly see that as a "has to go" issue. he's still probably younger than the new draftees. the coaches have brought him a long a lot slower than I would have. lots of time to see if he breaks out this year.

Oh I know, that's who I was talking about.
