If I could have my choice, it'd be either Deron or CP3 probably, because they're both so damn good and can shoot.

If you're looking for a more complimentary piece, I'd take Chauncey Billups for a couple seasons, also Jason Kidd could work well.

I was just about to mention kidd but you beat me to it. Rondo's play making is something the Heat were massively massively lacking the past few seasons and only really Wade had the versatility and athleticism to make a game changing or momentum changing play but i agree that Rondo needs to improve his shooting but come on dude he's 24 there is much time for that boy and i expect big things.
Maybe me being mesmerized by some of the things Rondo was pulling off in the playoffs is what makes me rate him so highly but i won't deny it we need more shooters in Miami.

Knicks fans are so retardedly hilarious. They discount reports by sas, lebatard or anyone else saying that lebron is goin to miami or not to nyc as being haters, idiots or other names. but they jump on tweets from jason williams and jared dudley as gold, solid, undeniable truths. lol they are definitely more brainless than bulls fans

I really don't like giving up any of the Heat picks. BC can suck my nuts.

Come on, LOL. By 9 pm tomorrow, the Heat could possibly be getting the biggest and best triumverate since Octavian, Antony, and Lepidus, but you don't want the Heat giving up any picks?

Man, throw us a bone, will ya? We're dying in Toronto :(

I'm taking Rondo without hesitation, for me what he did in the playoffs was astounding. I mean the numbers he put up were crazy and he's only 24!
Either him D-Will or CP3 but Rondo is the best PG in the league for me. Do any of you know when his contract is up?

yea rondo did step up some games in the playoffs, but in the regualr season his numbers were not that great, plus some night he jus does not show up at all, n u dont want that from a point guard, you also gotta belive he is a product of having 3 hall off fammers play on the court with him

So, if we acquire Bosh @ max salary for a TPE + picks, we will have, and re-sign Wade @ max salary, we will have $13,756,551 under the cap to spend (same if we just sign him outright). That's enough room, btw, to keep UD's Bird Rights but not Dorell's. These #s all assume rescinding our QO to Joel Anthony and renouncing his rights.

If we ship out Beasley in the S&T, we will have $18,245,187 to spend, enough to retain both the Bird Rights of UD & Dorell

If we ship out Chalmers in the S&T, we will have $14,137,336 to spend, enough for UD but not Dorell

And if we ship BOTH out in the S&T, $18,653,972

So we'll have anywhere from 13.75 mil to 18.65 mil to spend in FA no matter how we play it with Bosh.

If Wade & Bosh both do opt to take reduced salary, btw, we will have even more space.

Also, for every player we add, we remove a cap hold, reducing the amount that player hits us against the cap. So, e.g., a player that we sign for a deal starting at $5 mil only gets us closer to the cap by ~4.4 mil. So split up properly, 18.65 mil could bring in 20-21 mil worth of players.

I don't know if Colangelo doesn't want to help us get LeBron by taking Beasley, or if we're not offering Beasley. Doesn't really matter. If LeBron wants to come here, it's gonna happen no matter what.

It would be a huge mistake to trade Beasley, He haven't reach his full potential. He would be a great 6th man for us.

Problem is... Would he accept that role?

I had completely forgotten about that little detail. Thanks!

The majority of us Knicks fans are all intelligent enough to realize that all of these reports are most likely nonsense spread by the James camp to build up hype for the press conference. Most of these guys change their opinions by the day all based on "sources". Lebron has done a great job of protecting the result of this decision to build up hype for this show. None of these guys really know the truth and neither do we. All we can do is hope for our teams.

LeBron is apparently in Miami meeting with Pat Riley according to Ric Bucher. My mom was listening to ESPN radio and they reported it.
