And SG (in order):
Anthony Morrow
Ronnie Brewer
J.J. Redick

Other swingmen I would add to the list (not sure how attainable):
S.Graham
Bogans
Mason
A.Wright - might get more money
Hayes
Carney
Other Cs (not sure I would go the full 4m however):
Petro
Kwame
Boone
Would like Brad Miller but he might get a bit more.

I like Morrow but would rather have Brewer.
+1, or Tony Allen failing that

Rich, 14.5 million
Nash, 10 million
Barbosa, 7 million
Frye, 6M
Warrick, 4.5M
Hill, 3.5 million
Clark, 2 million
Dragic, 2 million
Lopez, 2 million
Dudley, 2 million
Lawal, .5 million
11 Players. 54 million Total. CAP is 58 million Total With 2 More Players Needed:
12th Player: Rookie summer-league guard for $500,000 - Reynolds or Dowdell - to serve as third point guard and practice body.
13th Player: Veteran minimum big-man like Joe Smith or rookie Dwayne Collins or center Dwayne Jones for about $500,000.
Total 13 Man Roster: 55 Million with 3 Million leftover (58 Million Max).
--------------------------
What Suns should do is trade Barbosa for CAP space - which would bring it down from 55 million to 47 million - then use a solid 5 million per year contract on a guy like Mike Miller and still have loads of CAP space leftover for future years.
Nash - Dragic - Reynolds
Rich - Mike Miller
Hill - Dudley - Clark
Warrick - Joe Smith - Lawal
Lopez - Frye
52 Million. 13 Players.
Whatcha Think?
I like that idea but I'm not so sure Mike Miller would accept. I mean I'm pretty sure he is getting better offers elsewhere ie. the Lakers.

I say - at this point - unless you trade LB to free up 3.5m in cap space - the only players the Suns should sign are minimum guys. Keep some cap space flexibility for once. A rotation of Nash,. Dragic, JRich and LB should be enough to go along with a veteran minimum guy
Now, IF they were to make that trade with LB - like to Cleveland that does free up cap space - sure - sign a guy for one year as the flexibility is there

I think no matter what, we must sign both our rookies, which would leave just one space left on our roster. I dont really mind who else we sign, as long as we sign both our rookies.

Re: Free Agents for $4 million or less...
If we could pull the Barbosa to CLE trade off and waive West (so that he could frolick down to South Beach) we could be in the hunt for a mid-tier FA SG.
To me, Mike Miller was built to be a Sun. A rotation of Richardson and Miller would be the best rebounding SG combo in the league... and that would compliment the best rebounding frontcourt of Lee and Lopez....
But alas.... tis too good for us lowly Suns fans.
We don't need anymore bigs if we are talking about Lou walking. If there is space, he should be first on the list.
The guy works in our system and can do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0hQxQZneRI

and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbbJPTmiUu0&feature=related

Either we must not be seeing the same guy night-in-night-out, or we need to talk. Some of you guys suggesting Mbenga, Kwame and Boone.... you disgust me.

^ Would like to have him if we can unload Barbs. Quite a few other teams have high intrest in Wesley Mathews, so dont expect him to sign for cheap.

Re: Free Agents for $4 million or less...
I think we should bring back Jarron Collins for the vet minumum. He's a veteran big man with size that can move his feet and guard the pick and roll. A character guy that doesnt make mistakes.....just dont ask him to score alot. I dont see any better veteran big men out there that will sign for cheap.
Another guy i like that would sign for the vet minumum would be Jannero Pargo. He played next to Chris Paul back in 08' and did pretty good. He was the defensive stopper, and harassed Nash when they played back then. He would be playing mostly next to Dragic in our offense, so you can imagine a Dragic/Pargo defensive backcourt off the bench. Just a good guy to put on guards too quick for Richardson/Dudley/Nash.
One more.....TMAC?

Re: Free Agents for $4 million or less...
Here's the deal:
In case you've missed Sarver's fascination with 2nd round picks (Griffin, Lawal, Collins) it's due to the fact that they can be signed for less than even the veteran minimum. Makes sense for guys riding the pine to make $300k less.
A few second rounders = quite a bit of your front office salary over the course of the year.

^yup.... the only difference between Tucker and Griffin was Sarver had to pay Tucker 3+ mill. A late 1st has more risk than an early second.
What ? Me Worry ?

Seems like Mike Miller and Matthews have had most interest so I wouldn't expect them to come cheap.
The Nets seem to be gobbling up the 2nd tier FA's now that they've missed out on the big fish.

I think the Nets best chance is to take it easy, sign some FAs but not do anything crazy. Suck again this year, get a top draft pick, move the team to Brooklyn and court Anthony next year.

If following Russian Billionaires in the English Premier League has taught me anything, it's that they are not very patient owners.
He'll want success, and want it pretty quickly ...
