thats the contract Amir should have gotten! that means Turk has to be gone cant have 16 mil tied up at SF and Weems being arguably the best player.

This is his Garbajosa replacement.

I would be all for Trading Hedo and having Kleiza and Beasley man the 3.

This is a good deal for less than the MLE. Good Player, tough player. Nice pickup. Don't count BC out yet.

BTW, if we somehow do make the playoffs, which we couldn't do this year with Bosh, are you really still going to be upset at making the playoffs?

I really like Kleiza as a player. He was solid off the bench in his days in Denver and performed very well for Olympiakos.

Good singing, good value. I'm happy with this.

Jack/Banks
DD/Weems/Beli
Kleiza/Weems
Amir/Davis
Bargs/ Alabi

Does't look too impressive, but at least there's some youth.

YOU FACKING PEOPLE ARE (Please Use More Appropriate Word) ....

There I had to get that out of my system. Seriously, Kleiza is going to add 1-2 wins to a 20 win team? OMG BIG WHOOOPIE DOOO!!! Kleiza is 25 years old people so he's young enough to keep for long term. He's going to bring grit and toughness to this team and possibly some leadership.

BUT GET IT TO YOUR THICKHEADS!! LINAS KLEIZA IS NOT CHANGING THE PATH TO THIS LOTTERY BOUND TEAM!!

Whenever Melo was injured, Kleiza filled in admirably for him.

because the majority on here have probably seen him play twice and hes white so they assume hes slow.

+1

Maybe this upcoming season will be more fun than we all think. Obviously were going to take our bumps and bruises but this will be a young and energetic team with guys looking to make a mark. We just need to rid ourselves of Jose Calderon and possibly Hedo Turkoglu.

Cool mix, thanks. I think we should be open-minded about this deal...the contract is extremely small. Could easily work out very well.

This doesn't look like the first step of any rebuilding process to me. In fact, it looks like more of the same retooling that we see every offseason.

Not that Kleiza is a bad player, of course, he's a decent role guy with toughness, but I just don't see the point as it pertains to turning this team into a contender in the long-term.

I think Kleiza is a pretty decent addition... but I much prefer Brewer :(
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

The thing is there's a lot of teams that are top heavy in the Eastern Conference, there's still two, maybe three playoff spots that are up for grabs in the East.

NY is the only non-playoff team that got a star and even with Amare, I don't think they've improved that much because the rest of that team still sucks.

I'm not suggesting we are a playoff team but we could surprise, considering how average the bottome half of the conference is.

I don't understand this, but it's still early. I assume he has some other deals in the works.

Return to Toronto Raptors
