For God sake, he's not Ryan Gomes. He's a SF - bye bye Turk? - whose young, TOUGH, ornery, AND BADLY WANTS TO BE IN TORONTO!

He's a good three point shooter, with some decent athleticism. He's not a superstar, but for 4/20 he's decent value and likely to be the kind of bargain signing we got in Jarrett Jack.

Exactly, not sure what everyone one here is yapping about. He is 25 years old, tough, rugged, solid rebounder, can get to the rim and has a solid shot.

Great signing at a solid price, love this deal. Kleiza will be a fan favorite.

good signing at a good price. he's like amir and bargnani -- all around their mid-twenties with good break-out potential, signed at reasonable prices. together with the young guns, and presumably more moves to come (which point guard goes?), today is looking better than yesterday

This doesn't look like the first step of any rebuilding process to me. In fact, it looks like more of the same retooling that we see every offseason.

Not that Kleiza is a bad player, of course, he's a decent role guy with toughness, but I just don't see the point as it pertains to turning this team into a contender in the long-term.

There I had to get that out of my system. Seriously, Kleiza is going to add 1-2 wins to a 20 win team? OMG BIG WHOOOPIE DOOO!!! Kleiza is 25 years old people so he's young enough to keep for long term. He's going to bring grit and toughness to this team and possibly some leadership.

Yes, because getting the 8th spot and losing in 4 games ultimately isn't going to help this team get anywhere. They need more young talent and one of the best (and only) ways the Raptors can acquire young talent is through the draft.
