Saying basically that these 3 guys had agreed a month ago to play together in Miami, that tampering no doubt took place, and the only way to make it less obvious was that Wade was doing Riley's dirty work for him. However, the entire free agency process was a total charade, and no other teams but Miami (and Cleveland for LBJ) were ever really in play.

Having paraphrased that -- I think LeBron and his people have totally miscalculated this whole thing. He has no idea of the emotions that are boiling over right now, and the hatred that will be coming his way if he goes through with this. Dude will never be able to live in Akron again. He will be HATED throughout Ohio, for the rest of his life, I'm afraid, if he does this.

Don't buy it. I don't think they had an agreement a month ago.

I genuinely don't think Wade and Bosh expected (or still expect) LeBron to come.

That LeBatard guy is nuts.

Chalk this up under interesting/for whatever it's worth. Source tells me Rangers employees told not to come to Greenburgh today

WTF? Why?

LeBron was given the Rangers as part of his signing with the Knicks. He will then disband the team and use the garden during those day the Rangers were scheduled to play to hold press conferences to discuss what he will do that day.

Boycott coming and billboards denouncing the "Big Three". How about tampering charges being filled by teams that wasted their time.

Screamin A had this as a done deal before July 1st.

God, this whole thing is pathetic and sad, lets get ourselves away from this situation ASAP. Let them all face whatever they have coming down in Miami. Can we please stop clutching at straws?
We are the knicks, we are never the favourite for anything, lets build with some good talent and people that want to be here. Lets pull the trigger on Lee to GSW as soon as possible, I would f*cking hate to see waiting for this joker Lebron hold up this deal and lose Lee to NJ for nada.

Here's what makes me skeptical about the Miami news. According to the Knicks presentation to LeBron as reported by Forbes.com, LeBron's projected average earnings in Miami is almost $400,000,000 less than it is in New York.

Four. Hundred. Million.

That's a lot of millions left on the table. For what exactly? Has anybody considered what happens to the Super Trio if they do anything BUT win the championship? They'll be ridiculed and shamed like never before. Conversely, if they roll over all the competition, won't he become universally villanized and have his marketing persona take a hit?

Other than joining the Clippers, this is by far the worst possible financial decision for LeBron. It is exponentially worse from a dollars-and-cents point of view than remaining in Cleveland or going to Chicago or New York.

Leaving for the Heat is the same thing as leaving for the Knicks. I doubt his city would hate him.

I still don't think he is going to the Heat. Ochocinco pretty much laid stated why. If he does, I hope Wade out shines him.

Wade and Bosh made their announcement together yesterday, do you really think Lebron would introduce himself seperate from the trio and then join their team. That would show a lack of solidarity and would disrupt team chemistry before they even stepped on the court.

Do you really think Lebron would try and publicly trade for Bosh without calling him first to make sure he was on board?. The man wanted to show the world he did everything he could to make it work in Cleveland.

Do you people really think Amare would cut ties with Pho without trying to force a S and T first? Stat has always been Bronx first choice, which is why Cle pushed for Stat all year.

And di you people really think Lebron introduces himself as a Heat in Knicks county?????

C.mon people... This plan has been in motion all year.. Espn admitted they had already planned this interview before hand. Lebron knew the location and time and day for days maybe weeks now. All along while still telling everyone he was undecided.....

Accept it, embrae it, relish it. Lebron is a Knick!

I can hear Mavrick Carter from my house laughing all the way to the bank after he snatched up all them shares yesterday...

Your the MAN bro...

Don't buy it. If that were the case, these egomaniacs should be guillotined. Being so jokey, jokey, using multiple teams, taking tongue in cheek twitter pics, basically playing the entire league. For something so serious, they were way too non-chalant about the entire thing.

And if this was all "planned", why is Bron the one having a huge press conference that has been planned for months, while these other bozo's barely make a ripple.

Maybe we got the guy wrong. Maybe he is not all about the money and the fame. Maybe he genuinely wants to be with his boys, win rings, and just enjoy himself. Maybe this one hour special is his farewell to being the king and join the circus.

If true then they made nothing short of a mockery of the NBA and the teams/owners that are in this league. All their camera crews, tweets about having breakfast, this intriguing, that interesting...keeping everyone tuned in for a week for what?

F them...I hope they all blow out their ACL's

Today is a big day for the Knicks. I do not believe the hype. I believe we are in good shape regardless of what happens tonight. If lebron says yes to NY...then instant euphoria. If not, I cannot wait to see what moves we make next. Guess what knick fans. No matter what happens today we are a better team. All of the bad personalities from the dysfunctional knick teams are now gone. We have a clean slate. 3 young rising ballers ....( Gallo Chandler , Walker) Currys expiring contract ( he will have a good yr if he plays since he is playing for a contract) to trade or allow to come off the books. We now have an All-Star in STAT who WANTED to come here. My friends we have already won :) Yes it will be like a kick in the stomach if he signs with the Nyets , Bulls & Heat especially because I really dislike those teams. But thats competition. If we have to go up against a 3 headed monster in Miami then so be it. We will have to figure out how to beat them for the next few years and make sure they get no rings. It sounds unrealistic but its true. Shed yourself of the last decade of loosing because its over with or without James.
