On tonight's episode of "Lebronious Punk:"

Jabron spends 45 minutes telling Jim Gray how his heart is in Cleveland and he'll always love the Cav fans, but he's about winning and friendship -- always has been. He simply cannot pass up the opportunity to win 6 straight titles alongside his bestest buds. Plus he feels a sense of duty to his old mate E from Entourage -- I mean Maverick Carter -- by buying him some more clients for his "marketing firm."

I'm glad he's going to Miami. I've always hated their fans and their PA announcer and Riles' leathery skin.

Pardon the language, but Deadspin couldn't have put it any better: http://deadspin.com/5581889/lebron-jame ... ****

He is going to be a Knick.

Wiretap has been wrong from the start.

Wiretap is just pulling stuff from other newsites though. If he does go to the Heat, it makes it impossible to win the division within the next 5 years. However, that knocks Cleveland down to a lottery team, which means teams like the Wizards have a chance at making the playoffs as early as next season.

He's a punk. Nothing more, nothing less. We've known it for a long time, I'm just happy that the rest of the world is starting to see and realize that fact.

I had to chuckle listening to one of the Cleveland reporters this week speaking about LeBon. Referred to him as "twenty-three slash six" (as in 23/6, his old & apparently new jersey numbers). Coupled with "Seven-Day Dray's" new number and new attitude, it made me think 23/6 is a perfect nickname for him. Kind of like 24/7, but came up juuuuust short.

Hopefully that's the story of the rest of his career, as it has been up to now.

Again, compare him to how Kevin Durant handled this entire process. Durant agreed on June 30, didn't say a word, and went to the draft and SL to cheer his team on.

Durant is a better player than Lebron is. He's a better offensive player because he can play off of the ball.

If he does go to the Heat I think he'll have to change his nickname from the King to the Sidekick. Or maybe Tonto or Robin. What at d-bag.

New York is still not a playoff team. They've got Amare and who else? The 7th and 8th seed are up for grabs between the Wizards and Bobcats. Maybe New York.

yep, Durant is much more likeable, the kind of guy most people would rather root for. Cheers on his teammates at SL. That's awesome and you know 23/6 would never do that. Don't know if I can say he's a better player in a purely objective sense, but I'd much rather have Durant on my team than the Sidekick.

jimij - good call, I like those options as well. And let's all remember the storyline. Even if the 3-punks win the title, keep these things in mind:

* He couldn't win one on his own or even with one other All-Star, he had to stack the deck to get a ring.
* Kobe still has more rings. Many more rings.
* No matter how many he does win with the Miami cHeat, Wade will always have one more.

He's a punk.

It's funny everything Wiz fans have been saying about LeBron for years has come to the light. I'm sure many of you guys saw this. Adrian Wojnarowski was spitting fire yesterday.

Greatest talent to ever walk into this league, the self-proclaimed King, and now everyone gets a front-row, primetime seat for how it means to live without self-awareness, without restraint. The vacuous star for our vacuous times, live on Thursday night and fitting himself for a ring as the undisputed Championship of Me. All about ‘Bron and all about nothing.

One other thing - I really hope he twists Riley's arm and forces a salary dump of Beasley so that they can all get the full max. (Can't have Chris makin' more coin than me, dawg!) It would be great for them to be just that little bit more tapped out, having to fill the entire roster with minimum players. But even better if someone holds them hostage for next year's 1st rounder, taking away yet another avenue for adding talent in the future. I wouldn't even complain if the Wiz did that, just to take away a future asset from the cHeat.

I still don't see it.

Ya'll are forgetting Indiana, who were a solid team once they got their players back. NY will sign or trade for someone--they're losing their draft picks so they have to win now no matter what. I think they'll squeak into the playoffs. Charlotte is a team that won 44 games last year and will have continuity this year, so I think they'll win 40.

I see us coming in 9-11, unless Wall absolutely explodes. If we trade Gil, slightly worse.

When Charlotte loses Felton their continuity might just take a hit.

I do think we have as good of a shot as Indy at the 8th slot but it really depends on whether or not we get a better SF and another backup big man. If we trade Gil we can forget playoffs this year.

If LeBron signs with someone other than Cleveland, it will be funny to see all the Cavs fans joining the hatefest on this thread.

I notice that almost 1/3 of all the threads posted on the Cav's board are LOCKED.
