agree...

Why? The fielded a horrible team, a one dimensional coach, and let a headcase like Delonte West ruin their chemistry.

I predict that the team that is most quiet with the press up until he announces his decision is the team he is going to. If you know you landed lebron, you dont say a PEEP.

How were the Cavs a horrible team? They were in strong contention this year and last. In the end not as good of a supporting cast as some teams, but I'd argue coaching was one of the obstacles like you say and they got rid of that dead weight.

Put it this way, they HAD (take note of the grammer people) no one other than LeBron. That's why they're a horrible team. This year, they're going to be next New Jersey Nets without LeBron.

I think the Cavs did what they could do with the pieces they had, but I have to agree about their roster being terrible. They had players, but none of the players seemed to every compliment one another.

Williams wasn't bad, but never had the impact they needed. Jamison was a great pick-up, but same impact issue there. Most of the rest of the team were/are scrubs.

If I were them, I'd look at trading with Portland. Assuming James leaves, pieces like Webster and Fernandez would be nice.

Yeah it's true but just because the rest of the roster left some talent to be desired doesn't mean they didn't have good role players. Many teams with a player like LeBron don't end up with a Scottie Pippen but you do have to look at some good pieces that were complementary to LeBron. LeBron alone was not the reason they got as far as they did in the Playoffs.

With that said, the role players lose their role if LeBron leaves so yeah they'd be in a bit of trouble. But I do still contest that they fielded a terrible team, when they had a legitimate shot at a title both years.

i think the saddest thing for Cleveland is that they built up a roster, surround LeBron that "supposedly" was to contend in the playoffs. They paid no attention to developing young talent because they thought they were in line for a championship. Now that LeBron is gone (hypothetically) they have a roster full of avergae veterans, and no young talent, or draft picks.
