I would blame him for going to Chicago

Good morning. Waking up to more speculation. This makes tonight's show more interesting.

I completely agree. His brand and legacy will be ruined completely.

With all the rampant speculation, James' camp could have been spreading rumors about different teams to gauge the reaction he would get for whatever team he chooses. The rumors about the Knicks could have been false misdirecting speculation as well. We honestly don't know.

If we are to believe Jared Dudley, then he has already had confirmation with the Knicks' FO two days ago, which is believable because he would obviously notify a team of his intention before today. If he did confirm with NY, then I can't see him changing his mind at this point. Then add in the orange "Witness" t-shirts being shipped to NY, the Nike leak about him being a Knick on the 8th, the Knicks bigger than called for press conference today, the secret 2nd meeting with NYK reps and his agent, the recent quietness and inactivity from the Knicks' front office, etc, etc. This Miami news could be blatant misdirection to take the focus of New York and put it somewhere else so that his/their one-hour show will get more ratings. Or maybe he truly didn't contact the Knicks, and decided on Miami in the 11th hour after Wade and Bosh pleading with him after their press conference.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Seems to show that if LBJ is going to Miami, Bosh doesn't know about it.

Honestly, I call BS on this.

It could be Heat, Knicks are those two teams he's considering but I think it's Bulls, Knicks.

Absolutely. If things go south, improvise!

Once the players are signed, then you end up making the deal, not before.

This entire thing feels, if it is so, like the World Racing League from the Speed Racer movie, in that everything was rigged for business reasons. I have NO respect for this at all.

The part about him notifying the Knick front office, which Dudley said on TMZ, I do NOT believe. I'm not saying Dudley did not hear some information and that it is not credible -- both those things could be true -- I just don't believe the Knicks have been told, know he's coming.

When you're right, you're right. I've been saying this for a week. The reports that favor NY all use logic, solid information, and some semblance of reasoning. The Miami reports are all based on "sources" and nothing else. Nothing about how they'll divide the money, no reasoning, no evidence. It's not over. For all we know the sources for pro Miami are coming from Miami themselves, or ESPN producers, we have no idea.

The assumption here is that LBJ camp is using logic. I highly doubt that. He is just going to Miami to play with his boys.

One advantage of Miami: LeBron can do a lot of charity work down there. Take care of elderly people and build your BRAND!!

Well, if Bosh does already know Lebron is coming here, he sure is playing it up and acting like a bitch. He is the true attention whore from all of this. He wants to be super famous.

lebron james signs with the heat, he is a coward. it is the worst thing that could happen to the nba. the fact that that town doesn't give a **** about basketball, the fact that wade is the top dog, and the fact that he left his hometown and didn't go for the biggest challenge possible in new york city, just goes to show the type of guy he is.

if he doesn't sign with us, this isn't the kinda guy we should want anyway. **** him.

and any fan that doesn't give him the ol' bronx cheer when he shows up at the garden should be ashamed of themselves. this **** is a joke.

I'm sorry, but if LeBron feels he needs Wade AND Bosh to beat Kobe that pretty much tells you how insecure the man is.

There's also what Rick Kamla said, that he himself also spoke to someone from the Knicks FO, and that he also confirmed that Lebron was going to be a Knick.

Build your BRAND?? Im MIAMI?? The city could lose the heat and no one would even notice... Its hard to build your brand when your own home fan base barely gives a rats patoot about your team...

I watched the Dudley video on TMZ and it looked like a crap source. He kept saying Lebron will come for Amare and the big city and only mentioned he had a "source" when the guy said I thought you had a source for this. Then Dudley spouts off I have a source. Cmon now.

And obviously Alan Hahn who has made a career of making things up saying that he has a "source" is valid? Cmon now.
