Theres no way in the I see us getting Bynum UNLESS!! We get a 12 million TPE from Miami and than flip it to LA with Turk, in order for the Lakers to be able to sign FA'S, that way they get a turk and the ability to sign a very good FA.

Do you have a clue as to why we would want them? Some posters on here lack basketball gm'ing sense. These are usually the posters that falme BC cause they haven't a slightest as to what they are bitching about.

No one wants Luke or Sasha, WE KNOW THEY ARE SCRUBS. What we do want, and listen up, is close to 25 million dollars in cap relief that getting rid of Hedo's contract for theirs would bring us. If we are rebuilding, that extra 25 million spread over the next 4 seasons is a hell of a helper in doing so.

Does this make sense to you?

Wouldn't/shouldn't the Lakers want Jose more than Hedo?

They'd be insane to trade Odom for Hedo given that a) Odom is a much, much better player b) Bynum is injury prone and Odom can fill in as a starting PF, Hedo can't.

But if it's for Walton and Sasha, then ya it would make sense.

Would love to have Hedo in LA with his ass stapled to the bench ...... no chance he bitches about his role over there with Kobe ready to slap the pizza out of hands and smear it in his face.

Question is, does BC do it (Hedo for Luke and Sasha)?

I think he values Hedo way more than those scrubs. I would do this trade for shear relief of Hedo's contract. Sasha has a little nice expiring to go with Banks and Evans, I don't like Luke's deal but it's shorter and a lot cheaper than Hedo's.

Still a good deal :)

It is. Just that its Luke Walton. :blank:

I guess it wouldn't be too bad if his dad started doing some of the Raptor games. :D

Walton is a decent bench player, great passer, low maintenance, would not make disturbances in the locker room, would like bond well with our young guns. If you have to carry salary, he's a quality guy. A year or two from now, he's going to be tradeable for more value. Look at salaries exploding right now, his deal is cheap in the context of a rising cap.

Colin Cowherd is a radio guy. He has no connections. He's just going to "report" something he read on a blog or maybe whatever him and his buddies were talking about the night before.

But we can dream.

Walton and Vujacic for a guy who L.A. thinks can help them win a title, an whose value will surely go up with more ball. There is interest out there, and this would have to be as bad as offers get. Would have to think rights to Ebanks would be in there, BC loves him and the Lakers would have no need for him. He may not make the team as it is.

I don't mind giving up Turkoglu for Luke Walton and/or Sasha Vujacic.

I'm not a fan of either player, and I could care less about their limitations. I just know that Vujacic's contract ends after next season (along with Banks, Evans, Belinelli, etc.), and Walton... well, he just seems like a nice guy (lol).

Sign me up on any deal that moves Hedo the hell out of TO. After all he's done and with Bosh gone, he's not needed or wanted on this team. Think about how toxic an environment the ACC will be in if he's on this team? It's not a good environment for young players to develop when 1/5 of the home team's starters is booed every time he touches the rock.

I'd make any deal proposed here, even taking on The 'Stache for hilarity's sake.

They signed Steve Blake. Fisher is the backup now.

but, but, but, Hedo sucks, how can Kobe and Phil Jackson even consider bringing such a scrub to their team? We Raptor fans are way smarter than these people...

This is fantastic news. I don't understand the need for Hedo, Odom & Artest, but if they think it will help them against the superfriends, then lets give it to them.

Walton is a serviceable player, the Sasha & Walton trade makes sense to me.

Personally, I doubt they'd trade Bynum for Hedo + trade exception but that would obviously be fantastic. If Lebron goes to Miami, they'll want to keep that mismatch for the finals. Miami won't have anyone to guard Bynum.

I think by offering Kleiza a contract today, BC wants Hedo gone b4 the season begins.

Oh I know. The deal makes a lot of sense even with Walton's contract going till 2012/13 and the 7.5% TK.

Its just Luke Walton. He's a boring player to watch. But I'm not complaining as I'd do the deal 10 times out of 10.

Luke Walton isn't really that boring to watch...you just haven't seen him play since 2006, play by play guys rave about his excellent passing and shooting touch...

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M TRYING TO SELL SOMEONE ON LUKE ***** WALTON.
