Having all the money in the word gets players - just not always immediately. Fast forward to the trade deadline. There will be teams out there desperate to make a transaction and will look at us (especially if we have the open cap space) to conduct business.

Good god man have IQ's just DROPPED sharply... WHY would a team want to trade a GOOD PLAYER off their team? Oh Look! The Knicks have Money! Lets trade Kobe and Odom for Cash considerations and the rights to Frederic Weis!!

I mean comon.. Lets look at the NBA Stars.. And are they coming to us:

Kobe, No.
Melo, Possibly, depends on him and maybe on LBJ.
CP3, see above.
Wade/Bosh Gone.
Dirk Nope.
Gay Nope.
Durant, Nope.

I mean where are the players going to come from? Tell me, I want to understand your logic on this... Seriously.

Yeah, but maybe the teams don't really know and there are just listening to the press like us

Did they ever make up after Boozer screwed him over in Cleveland?

Also, this.

They never had to make up. Lebron was never angry with Boozer. They played together for team USA. Plus, the CAVS tried to get him..

I should have sold all of my MSG shares when it was up nearly 10% at one point yesterday. Damn.

If Mike D'Antoni says it's slipping away, I'd take that a bad sign. Wouldn't you?

I will really fkn hate all 3 of these players. I hope nobody supports them and buys their jerseys again. They should be boo'd in every damn arena they visit. The NBA has started to look more and more promising over the years... all 3 of them in Miami would instantly turn it into a complete joke.

All I can think is anywhere but MIA, I cut my teeth as a Knick fan back in the mid to late 90's when NYK/MIA was the biggest rivalry in sports at that time. This would just be one ironic kick in the gut to top off the last 10 years of suck.

Wow BT asked D'antoni how he would deal with Miami's superteam if LeBron went there. And halfway through the answer, D'Antoni was already talking of it as if it's happened already.

Source told FOXSports.com Miami Heat have offered Mike Miller 5-year deal worth 27-30 million with deadline tonight.

They are signing everyone?
