So I guess we won't resign Tyrus.

yeah, I like it too. But who will backup Nazr? Jeffries is not a center as far as I know

Agree. I would love to have Beasley. LB has always liked Jefferies.

Wow, if we got Beasley for that I think it's a damn steal. He's got a bit of a 'tude but the guy can score and he's young and on a rookie deal.

The quest for 2nd place in the NBA to Miami begins.

Jeffries is a bum what does his contract look like? but i like the idea of getting beasley but not of that means we have to give up on tyrus......anyway in this trade we would be stacked with wing players and still dont have a PG

by getting beasley and jefferies for tyson and not re-signing tyrus... does that mean we'd keep ray with the money we would have spent on tyrus?

i guess center would be nazr, diop, ajinca, diaw by committee. we could always bring back theo for cheap.

do you guys believe in beasley's potential more than tyrus'? thats the question.

his contract expires next year and he gets paid 7million/year I think. So we don't loose really much.

and Beasley > Tyrus. Even though both of them are bums

I do. Tyrus has no potential at all. He is what he is, Stromile Swift 2.0.

ok so we get a contract that is expiring at the same time and a talent back? I am not really mad at that....still dont want to give up on TT but whatever its a business

well the heat offer miller 5 mil a season they would only do that if one of two things is happening they either not getting LBJ and they working on a backup or they found a taker for beasley....so its possible

If we can get Beasley cheap then I'm down. I'm not stupid enough to say that we couldn't use his scoring but I wouldn't give up much because I think he's a bum.

Honestly, I'd be very hesitant to give up Chandler or let Tyrus walk just to bring him in. Of course that all depends on what our plans are for those guys anyway.

I agree 100%. But, even if we make the deal, nothing says we can't turn around and ship Beasley's lame ass someplace else at the trade deadline.

I'm not convinced we should do it. I can't care less whether this rumour is legit - writers find out or make rumours that's their job in these days. Simply there are two possibilities - it will happen ot it won't. Since we can't tell, it is irrelevant for the discussion (except rumours not working under nba rules).

the only reason i dont want to do it is cause i dont want to be the team that helped put together that miami super star circle jerk they got going on.....it would be nice if we could get a real point guard and not jefferies bum ass

I'd much prefer Big Al, but SCB would be a solid pick up. Pity it would be at the cost of TC - because I would rather have SCB starting at the 4 with TC next to him at the 5.

After watching him play a full season at K-State there is no doubt in my mind at all that SCB has a LOAD more potential than T2.

SCB will never block shots like T2 and he might not dive 8 rows back for a loose ball, but there is no way T2 will ever be as smooth as SCB on the offensive end - and I would suggest that SCB is actually a better rebounder than T2 as well.
