I'm a Cleveland sports fan. I have also always been a fan of LeBron (because he was from the area & played for the Cleveland basketball team), but if LeBron leaves... I hope he gets shot in a drive by and that his family suffers the same way that he is planning to make Cleveland fans suffer.

I think people nationally really do not get it. I mean he is calling this "The Decision". We went through the "The Drive", "The Fumble", "The Shot", and this guy has the gaul to name this "The Decision"?? Really?

Come on, let's not start wishing for his death. That's crossing the line.

Ding, ding, ding. That is the craziest Cavs post of the day. If LBJ leaves, there is no reason to meltdown. It would be poetic justice if the Heat fail to win a title and the Cavs rebuild and win one.

LOL!

I was thinking: It'd be poetic justice if he left Cleveland/Akron and went to Miami then he was shot in a drive-by. I'd feel bad for his kids, but not for him!

Anyone who ever screws with Cleveland is always at the top of my list of most hated people in the world.

Cleveland was good to me..and the area was good to him. We had similar childhoods, and have had similar success in our professional lives (He gets paid a couple dollars more though...go figure :-? ), and I have always supported Cleveland and it's surrounding areas... always will. It is beyond me how someone who's life was a screwed as his (&mine) was, yet saved by the citizens of the area... how that person could turn their back on that community.

I never could... and even 100 million couldn't do it (seriously). LeCon is the lowest of the low if he does that to the community that protected and raised him, and made it possible for him to have what he now enjoys.

Prozac? Nah. It has nothing to do with that. Ever hear the quote: "What comes around, goes around."? Well if he does this to Cleveland, it will come back to haunt him...and I truly hope he suffers mightily.

You disagree? Tell me this: What happens when the next kid needs help, but people cannot do it because of him? What happens when 30Million is lost from the economy and 17% of Cleveland residents are affected and can no longer afford the internet to give their opinion... or less food is available for starving families, or less jobs are available... shall I go on?

This is about doing what is right!!! People say he owes Ohio/Cleveland nothing... But, he does... he owes them (you) everything!!!

Didnt read all 8 pages, but for myself, I am not a Lebron jock sniffer. I am a Cavs fan. If he leaves he is the enemy. What was the OP fishing for here I wonder? Did he think that there were no Cavs fans before Lebron? Kind of a douchebag if you ask me to even pose this question.
This belongs on the General board where Cleveland bashing is a sport, not here.

Kobe was never realistically going to leave LA. He had already had a shot to leave the Lakers but stay in LOS ANGELES (jumping ship to a loaded Clips team with max cap space); I think this was a year or so following the Shaq trade.

Kobe just wanted to force Kupchak to get off his ass - and it worked (though Bynum for Kidd would have been a disaster)

Only when they play LA in the finals. Lesser of two evils. And lesser of 4 potential evils if he might have gone to Chicago or NY.

I wouldn't be surprised if he started receiving death threats. I even want him to stay just because it seems so cheap for him to leave... and I am a Bulls Fan. I was kinda wary of our courtship of him, but always felt he should stay in Cleveland and sleep in the bed that he made for himself. I can't really see his behavior flying with the Bulls anyway. It was just kind of a bad fit... Just like it is everywhere except Cleveland.

He isn't going anywhere IMO. I think he will resign. All of this could just be a bunch of hooplahh.

Good luck Cavs!

actually, I don't think there is anything wrong with a player changing teams as a free agent. It's just that LeBron has really hamstrung the Cavs repeatedly with his posturing and then this show would absolutely be a huge F U to the team and the people that have followed him since high school.

We tried to give you guys Bosh, that would actually be the only scenario where I would wish him well, on a team like Cleveland.

Hope Lebron stays in Cleveland though. Everyone seems to forget you were the best team in the league.
