I'd gladly welcome him back if we could keep it short (3 years or less) at a fair amount. Obviously, he's going to go to whoever offers him the best deal. He's 31 and this could very well be the last contract of his career, depending on the length.

hey, Raps fan here--

WT says TOR is close to signing someone with some/all of the MLE.

in other news, his twitter account says that Bobby Brown is hitting up T.O.

i was just wondering if he might be signing with us, or if that's just a summer league thing. i know Brown's a RFA and was curious what you guys thought about a) if he'll stay or go, b) if he does come to T.O. what he's bringing to the table. i don't know a ton about him-- he seems to have a decent skill set, but doesn't get a lot of time on the floor. IYO, is he a serviceable back up? T.O. would be shipping Jose or Jack out and using Brown as their back up PG and their 2nd/3rd option on SG, i'm guessing.

thanks for the info guys-- again, just speculation on my part. seeing the two pieces of news got me wondering. thank you!

I feel like, if anything, Livingston owes us one. I feel that he has a lot of unfinished business with the Clippers, and really, I'd love to see him come back and thrive (in a backup role for the time being). It's likely we'd be able to get him cheap, and I think he still has his house here, so why not see if he's interested?

Did Steve Blake really sign with the Lakers? I've been away from a lot of NBA news the past few days.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I hope he enjoys the other side of LA basketball then, another Clipper gone Laker.

I think Livingston could be a solid backup for us, would be quite the comeback story if he did.

I read on the wiretap that Rasual Butler is getting interest from other teams. I'd love to have him back but if the Celtics want him I'm sure he'll sign.

Meh. I wouldn't pay him that much. 7M a year for a slightly better version of Al Thornton.

:o

NJ must be pretty desperate to pay that kind of money to Outlaw.

I wasn't really an Outlaw fan, so I'm not really disappointed. I would be very disappointed if it were us paying him $7m per year.

I thought the Grizz would overpay for Outlaw after losing Gay, but ended up keeping Gay so that prediction was obviously way off.

I know I'm late for commenting on Outlaw, my internet wasn't working all day. I guess the Nets were desperate and over paid to get Outlaw.

:dontknow:

I wasn't a fan of him. I think that he probably got paid about twice as much as I would have been comfortable in paying him.

Bumpity bump for Steve Novak.

Buser Sports linking to rotoworld say he has signed with the Mavs.

If it's true, I'm happy this guy got a job somewhere.
