But he's proven that he's an ego maniac this offseason and I'm just sick of all the teasers he's been throwing our way for two years to give himself attention. I would love nothing more than to win without him and to build a team that makes his life miserable wherever he goes. I trust Walsh and Mike and I think they'll give us a solid team with a bright future. Now after tonight, if this guy doesn't come, let's just stop talking about. Screw him, all he wants is our attention. And he'll hate his life everytime he walks into msg until he retires, that's for sure.

I knew you'd be back. :P

The City went nuts when we grabbed Ewing...

Post#1443 » by rrosario35 » Thu Jul 8, 2010 9:21 pm

About 10 years ago when the Knicks began to resemble a team that sucks a friend of mine told me of when Ewing was first drafted or when we won the lottery. fans were going crazy in brownsville, bedstuy and elsewhere...

If we end up getting Lebron... Are you celebrating?
I know a cool little bar in Brooklyn, we can go celebrate!
Then again I'm not crazy about Bron but the idea of having one of the best players on the planet makes me want to party.

I like going with The Joker, if Wade is Batman, because Bosh decided to be Robin. And, if they don't win titles, it is because Bron messed things up. Thus Bron is the Joker to the Batman and Robin.

All that would be needed is for Rodman to finally make a comeback and leave the court naked in his final game in the NBA, down in Miami, as he promised he would do.

As I said last time the high position Nike staff were out of the office for the rest of the week including today. But I did talk to a number of people and the main thing they talked about was they had no idea what so ever where these Miami rumors originated from. Was also confirmed Nike wants LeBron in NY and that he will definately get more endorsements in NY. This is a FACT: Knicks are STILL in it! Those sneakers from months ago happened for a reason. Guys don't be so down, seriously. I'm not saying it's guaranteed but as far as I know Nike does not know who these mysterious sources are. I will update more as time passes. Don't give up hope.

I'll play along. I'm honestly 50-50 right now -- he'll either stay in Cleveland or end up in NY. My heart and logic leans towards NY, but the cautious side of me (not wanting to be disappointed) is preparing for Cleveland.

I'll go on record saying that the Miami rumors are complete nonsense. If I'm wrong, so be it.

This is what I am saying. Because you keep hearing from Windhorst and even freaking Broussard that NOTHING has come from LeBron and his inner circle. Who are these people?????

It just seems to stupid to happen. I don't believe it.

I think the sources were players who were supposedly contacted by Lebron on wednesday to see if they wanted to play for the heat. According to realgm wiretap atleast.

If no LBJ, can we S/T Harrington,McGrady, House?

Post#1459 » by Mush Man » Thu Jul 8, 2010 9:24 pm

If no LBJ, are there other S/T opportunities for Harrington, McGrady & House? Which over the cap teams might want to give up some combo of young player, pick, and 1 year back-ups for the rights to our expirings? Maybe some other ways to grab some pieces without messing with our ability to go after Carmello or Parker next year.
