As a long suffering Wizards fan, I feel for you guys. I liked the Wiz/Cavs playoff series and was looking forward to more in the future. Keep your heads up, something good will happen for Cleveland. Gatta say, I hope the entire rest of the counrty hates the Heat and this trying to Highjack a championship. Not the way the league is supossed to work.

My sympathy for the Cavs fans is limited by the fact that they've had a good run at a title with the league's second-best player, whom only arrived through luck and sheer incompetence in the first place. Forget the regular season, overall the club basically regressed through two years of on- and off-court personnel mismanagement, and had they sacked Mike Brown and Danny Ferry two years ago they might already have a title. Let's not forget there are plenty of other worse teams with a which a fan could be stuck. Thems the breaks.

Bulls Fan here.

I'm honestly disgusted at LeBron. You Cleveland fans deserve better than him. I'm very sorry. F LeBron

Props to fans of other teams showing class in this thread understanding how much of a bitch Lebron is for doing this on Nat'l television.

At least my view on Lebron has been consistent. I hated him from day 1 and I hate him even more now. I feel bad for you guys but what could you expect from a guy like Lebron?

If my Jazz don't do it then I'm rooting for Cleveland to win the championship next season. Sweep the Heat in the ECF. What a douche!

A textbook case of what not to do during free agency. Not only did he crush Ohio but NYC fans have to be pissed that he teased them and dropped multiple hints that he would go there for so long. He has probably made a lot of enemies in the media with this stunt.

Knicks fan here. I really wanted him but I really feel for you guys. To do this on TV like this is just cowardly.

Lebron has abandoned his hometown. I understand that he doesn't "owe" Cleveland anything but to go on ESPN and make this announcement makes me sick. He showed so little concern for the fans in Cleveland, he could have at least pretended that he was upset about leaving.

Any of you would leave your hometown in a second if you didn't feel like you could reach your goals there and were sure that you could somewhere else. Why should he be forced to stay with a team that has shown it's incapable of surrounding him with Championship caliber talent? Because it's his hometown? Sports fans always say how refreshing it would be for an athlete to make a career choice based on winning over money. And then when one finally does, we crucify him. I say good for you Lebron.
