I just got in. I find it more than funny that the Kleiza thread is bigger than the Bosh/Wade thread on the Miami board.

get a grip. it's a reasonable contract for a solid, tough player who has had some success in the nba. he was overseas for one season.

I don't mind Kleiza. Definitely prefer him over some of the other names thrown around.

Anybody remember Kleiza and Triano going at each other, with both of them getting T'd up (IIRC). Should be interesting...

Kleiza's a solid player. Always has been. It's good value for him, but I don't see him as a need.

This deal does however look incredible when you realize New Jersey just signed Outlaw for 35 million.

I take back what I said, I'd love Kleiza here. Someone mentioned fielding a thug team when we play the Heat to dish out some injuries; Kleiza could fit the bill there

Why sign? That is the passion of this fan base, something that Miami, Cleveland, Chicago or any other franchise can match.

If we had a team that got to a second round, this fan base would explode like no other.

Linas Kleiza has a simple request for the Denver Nuggets: Don't match the offer sheet he signed Thursday.

Kleiza, who was with the Nuggets from 2005-09 before becoming a restricted free agent last summer and leaving to play last season in Greece, said the offer sheet he signed with Toronto is for $18.8 million over four years.

"I want to play with Toronto,'' the forward said in a phone interview with FanHouse. "I hope things work out and (the Nuggets) allow me to do that.'

I know theres an enormous thread but doubt people know about this.

BTW Kleiza is a capable player. In Denver he had a game where he dropped 41 against Sloans's Jazz

I wish he was American or something, just to set a good precedent for future FA's. It's great that European players love Toronto though.
