the news is really awesome. I was sitting in a cafe doing some work, and was watching on espn3, i literally shouted (had headphones on, so even worse) and everyone looked at me funny. What I couldn't believe was nobody else was following it.

I wonder if they'll mesh right away, or if it will take miami a few years to really get into the championship groove.

I'm thinking that these guys are the big pros, they aren't there to battle each other, they want a ring, I think they can pull it off. Lakers vs. Heat, or Cletics vs. Heat!

Should be real exciting when 5 teams are relevant in the league, and one team accounts for arguably the best pf, and two of the best 3 players in the NBA. Oh not to mention the fact that this little club y'all are forming will attract washed up assbag NBA'ers like flies to a steaming pile of horse crap.

Thanks for ruining the NBA LeBron. Coulda been the next Michael, reestablished any number of franchises, built your own legacy, or challenged a Wade, Kobe, the Celtics, or the Magic for dominance in the NBA, but instead you decided to get a $40m mansion in star island, not really have to play that hard and create Team USA by riding the coattails of a great player who actually went out and won a title for HIS team.

i think it was brent barry who said were gonna see more of the lebron he was supposed to be when he was entering the leauge most thought he was more of an "magic johnson with crazy athletic" as a michael jordan , now that he don't need to score every single possesion his assists will jump to the roof i believe he will concentrate on passing and defence now that he doesn't have to score that much

i think nummbers like 22,5 PPG 8.9 RPG 10.5 AST are not unlikely

I am still in disbelief of the whole night.
I didn't want to believe the rumors yesterday, but I had a feeling and so many people were mentioning Lebron at his new home, he's made reservations at the hotel, etc. etc.

And now the fantasy has come true.

I resent that LeBetard said "Miami fans don't deserve [Lebron James]." on PTI today, but I don't think its an issue of deserve or not, its a matter of winning games.
It was Lebron's choice, we deserve it if a player wants to come here more than any other city.
