Kings fan here, coming in peace, and I wish to offer my condolences.

The entire state of Ohio deserves so much more. To be stabbed in the back by one of your own is disgusting, but the truth is that LeBron doesn't deserve to be part of a wonderful franchise like the Cavaliers. Karma will get him. He might win some championships, but he won't be remembered as a champion. You can count on that.

At least we know what its like to hate LeBron now. No city hates him more than us now.

On a side note I have that shirt that LeBron wore today. Actually just bought it. Dont know if I'll ever be able to wear it again.

Sorry to hear LeBron leaving, and this is coming from a laker fan. I wanted him to stay and have it be Lakers-Cavs finals next year. While it hurts right now in a couple of years with free agency and the draft you guys will be back. I know personally when Shaq left we struggled but we drafted Bynum, made some key trade and free agent signings. You guys will be back sooner rather than later because you have more talent now than you did before LeBron.

I don't like how he made this deciscion so public because he turned a lot of fans against him. He was largely influenced by the people around him who appear who have never wanted him to return to Cleveland. Now he is going to a team with just five guys right now and Beasley and Chalmers could be traded. Now they have to fill out their roster with rookies and cheap veterans. But the game of basketball is a team sport not just a couple of stars and useless players. A team need role players to win a championship like a Fisher, Artest, or Bynum.

Personally over this process and since your season ended I became sick of James. Even during the Finals the first story on ESPN was about LeBron and not the Lakers or the Celtics. James' people and the media like ESPN hyped up the situation too much and because of it they let down many fans who hoped that their team would sign him. But this is a new start a clean slate and you guys will move on.You guys have an owner that is committed to improving the team and winning so you'll be fine. While it is a sad day today the best is yet to come and I believe that you guys will be successful in the very near future.

Chicago fan here.

I never really thought Lebron was coming to chicago. I actually had a feeling he would stay in Cleveland.

Guys, really, all i can do is give you my sincerest condolences. Don't think im a troll or anything. This sucks for the NBA, but i can't even begin to think how are you guys feeling now.

Sad times in the NBA ahead.

I feel sorry for you guys.
LeJerk has made a LeJoke of the league.

Too bad he didn't have the mental toughness to stick it out.

You guys should have some high draft choices coming your way & maybe
you'll get some guys that while not as physically gifted, have the minds & hearts
of a champion.

The guy you just lost has just proven he does not.

Not surprising to be honest, nor can you blame Lebron for wanting to win a title soon, something he will not be able to do in Cleveland, now matter how you twist or turn it.

I don't criticize his decision because I suppose most of us would have done the same thing. He chose the winning path, instead of money and fame.

The only thing you can fault him is the entire process, with the ESPN show as the icing on a very foul smelling cake. His marketing machine played it hard and dirty, they should not have.

I remember KG his words when Boston kicked CLE out of the playoffs. I suppose that is how Lebron was feeling: He loves Cleveland, he still does, but he feels the clock is ticking.

Pistons fan here, and regardless of the s**t talking that we've engaged in as fan bases over the last couple of years with regards to our 'rivalry' of sorts, I'm sorry that LeBron did this to your city. Not cool at all, no class whatsoever.

Here's to hoping that you guys bounce back faster than others expect you to.

Sports fans always say how refreshing it would be for an athlete to make a career choice based on winning over money. And then when one finally does, we crucify him. I say good for you Lebron.

A Bucks fan

I don't think anyone is saying LeBron should always and only play for the Cavs. He played his heart out and earned the right to be a free agent. No one's disputing that.
I just think a lot of people are disgusted that it turned into a national TV spectacle. Did he really have to have an ESPN special to announce his "decision"?

He's a kid who has been told how great he is ever since he could play basketball. Everyone kneeled before The King. Hell.....ESPN was fighting to air his friggin' HIGHSCHOOL games. What do you think that's done to his ego? I guess in hindsight this was the only way LeBron knew how to do it.

I'm sure he believes in his heart that he's making the right decision and after the front offices ineptitude he's probably right but he shouldn't have done it this way. Had it been done right the city and fans wouldn't have blamed him for leaving.

For whatever reason LBJ quit on Cavs against the Celtics

I criticize him not because of the decision he made, but because he held the organization hostage for 3 years by making them make bad (short term) decisions under the threat of him leaving. That is why they weren't the "best" option right now. I also criticize him for celbrating this on an ESPN special while his franchise and city take a huge hit. Awful

We won the same amount of championships as they did these past 7 years, at least the Knicks fans live in NYC.

Hey guys, Knicks fan here and I want to express my true sympathy for you. You guys didn't deserve the disgusting disrespect we saw here tonight. You made him into what he is today and there wasn't even a hint of appreciation. I truly hope some of you burn his house down because he is absolutely a revolting human being. Best of luck to you guys and I promise things will get better. He's only a man and you don't need scum like that to be the face of your city. I hope you guys join us in rooting for Kobe to mop the floor with those creatures in south beach. Once again, I'm truly sorry this happened to you and I want to wish you the best of luck in future. Oh and please be sure that if any of you are season ticket holders that you applaud Delonte West everytime he touches the ball.

But the Knicks locked up Amar'e for 5 years/$100 million in anticipation of another big FA signing. I'd bet Cleveland wins a championship before New York does.
