I'd say no. His contract is just too long and too expensive.

Re: HEDO
If it is Toronto's first and unprotected I'd do it in a heart-beat. We will have to build through the draft anyway, why not get a chance at next year's top three as well?

An emphatic "NO." Players with bad contracts is how the Jazz got in the pickle they're in. Hedo's got one of the worst contracts in the league, and he's overrated and a proven fraud. He sat out "sick" games in Toronto and then was seen partying it up into the early morning hours the same night. No thanks.

Re: HEDO
yeah his contract wouldn't be bad if he was...5 years younger but he's almost what..30..31..32? My math sucks..we have a bunch of SF's now..we could use a PF more than anything. Everyone is talking about a center but we do have 3 centers under contract with one coming in a year from Europe.
the other problem I have is, during the Jazz game in toronto he excused himself because he was..sick or injured or something and then later that night he was spotted at a club partying or something..that was the start of the fallout in Toronto. And now fans hate his guts in Toronto and regret his signing. Has a player option in 2013 for $12.2 million..yikes!
Talented player, I think he gets along well with AK/Okur.. so it's an option but he does have a history of problems and he's not getting any younger. He's been in the league for a long time.. I think his stock is low and we don't really have a need for him, but interesting idea.

I'm pretty sure we just drafted Hedo. No thanks.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

I am sure Toronto would not do it. Only makes sense for Jazz if a center comes along with him bc that is the need position
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Re: HEDO
I think the big prize here is the draft pick, not Hedo.
Would we trade for Hedo? No.
But, c'mon folks, we're talking about Toronto minus Bosh and Hedo, that should be a pretty good pick. I know the contract would be hard to swallow, but, if that pick has no protection on it, I'd be interested.
I think more likely would be AK for Hedo and filler (along with the first).

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Yeah Gordan Hayward is going to be Amazing!
Truth. Shouldn't have passed on a perennial all star like Cole Aldrich or the absolutely-can't miss Ed Henry.

We aren't the ones who suggested it.
And seriously, why would we take on the ridiculous contract your management gave a fading Hedo when Gordon Hayward will in fact be a better player?
