Interesting SB Video

I don't know if it's been posted elsewhere, so sorry if this isn't new, but I thought it was interesting enough to post here. Not sure how I feel about it, but I noticed this live and thought the whole Coughlin touching the ref and the clock not starting was pretty suspect.

I noticed this live, but I don't think it really affected anything. I mean, I guess it did, but it doesn't matter.
Pretty interesting stuff.
This stuff happens way too much in sports. Football especially. It's crucial, crucial stuff and the timekeepers just **** it up far too often. Like when a play is run and time ticks off the clock, but the ref whistles the play dead--that time should go back on the clock but it never does.
It appears that Belichick actually did run off the field well after time expired. Hmm.

I agree, the Giants still deserved to win. It was just a little odd IMO.
And of course my posting this spurs a whole LOL OWNED ROFL GG ROFL thread instead an actual debate. I should have known.

The clock should have been restarted after the first down signal.
Even if they did re-start the clock, keep in mind that there was still 40 seconds left when they scored.
If anything, that clock mis-hap gave the Pats a chance at the end of the game they shouldn't have had!!
