Do you not understand that the entire land scape of the NBA has changed? Getting crappy players is not going to help the Nets out.

Randolph was through a trade, what do you want Thorn to do, trade away all of our players for Randolph? They paid 20 million dollars for a guy with crappy knees, a bad eye, and Felton? Felton is a crappy player.

Wait...is someone honestly upset about Raymond Felton? Are you kidding me? Can't play defense or hit an open jumper or quick first step to get into the paint Raymond Felton? Jeez I would say that was a great move to completely ignore this guy.

Jordan Farmar has just as good court vision, has played for a high caliber team, has a nice shooting stroke and will cost a few million less.

Why are you so upset about Raymond Felton when he'd be our backup.

I actually laughed out loud about this thread.

Why in the world would the Nets need Felton?

Good for the Knicks for signing him. They needed a real point guard in the worst way since Toney Douglas is downright terrible at running an offense and they need to get the most out of Amar'e before he breaks down.

Anthony Randolph isn't bad, but he's mad overrated.

The fact they got amare didn't concern me then and doesn't concern me still. They have nobody else who can create their own shot. Teams will swarm on Amare. If the season started tomorrow, I would actually say we'll end up with a better record.

The fact we aren't making (Please Use More Appropriate Word) moves is a positive in my eyes. Even if Lebron told us no early on, I don't think we would have had a shot or would have wanted some of the big name guys that were available. We entertained the thoughts because we wanted Lebron. The fact we didn't play our money is something I'm happy about. I have no clue why some of you are losing your marbles over these guys.

I like Randolph. Overrated? Yeah, sure, but that was a great move by Walsh. Got a few prospects, another big. Good move.

They needed Amar'e. It was a good signing, because if they didn't get anyone, they'd have mortgaged their future for absolutly nothing.

The Nets have a young nucleus in place. We don't need the left-over scraps. Thorn will do us proud before he rides out. Be patient.

Raymond Felton can single handly stop Wade and LeBron so if we were smart enough to sign Jason Collins back, we'd easily be NBA champions this year.

We wanted Tryus but were to lazy to get to him to give him a deal and to cheap to pay for Lee cause they only have a few billion.

there comes to a point where you just start questioning you as a fan...but, I hear you're a fan of numerous teams...Here's the deal, please try and find a way to incorporate your thoughts in threads already made...I'm letting people start new threads to branch off ideas, but if you're looking to vent and offer solutions, stick to the sticky FA thread...

So how long have you been a Nets fan Dexmor?

Amar'e is a five time all-star, and he's better than anybody the Nets have. Bringing up his knee problems is a moot point because he made the All-NBA first team the next year.

Whoever said Felton can't defend hasn't watched him because that's his specialty. He shot a better percentage from the field and from three than Devin Harris, and it wasn't close.

The Nets overpaid for Travis Outlaw, a scrub coming off of a injury who shot under 40% from the field last year. Then they signed Johan Petro, who's awful.

The Knicks got Anthony Randolph, who isn't overrated at all. He sucks now, but he has star potential. Odom said the kids going to be better than him. He's 20, and way better than Terrence Williams.

They also just signed the top international free agent for the same price as the Nets signed Johan Petro, and Givony of Draft Express is already saying that's a much better investment.

Boozer chose the Bulls over the Nets, and they missed out on David Lee, and weren't considered by the top 3 free agents. This off season has been an utter failure for us.

The Knicks won 17 more games last year, and they got better, and the Nets would have a better record? LOL

The Knix are now a fringe playoff team, congratulations.

When a known to be good medical staff questions how his knees will hold up for more than 3 years, no, its not a moot point.

Whoever said Felton can't defend hasn't watched him because that's his specialty. He shot a better percentage from the field and from three than Devin Harris, and it wasn't close.

But yet, Devin has a higher career field goal percantage, go figure.

The Nets overpaid for Travis Outlaw, a scrub coming off of a injury who shot under 40% from the field last year. Then they signed Johan Petro, who's awful.

They had to, or else they wouldn't have gotten to the salary floor.

The Knicks got Anthony Randolph, who isn't overrated at all. He sucks now, but he has star potential. Odom said the kids going to be better than him. He's 20, and way better than Terrence Williams.

Saying he has "star" potential is the definition of overrated.

Boozer chose the Bulls over the Nets, and they missed out on David Lee, and weren't considered by the top 3 free agents. This off season has been an utter failure for us.

"Us"?

So I guess in your mind, youth doesn't get better each season? No, instead they say just as they were when they first came into the league. Ironic, with a name like "youthmovement," you think you would have a better understanding of that. Plus, all of us know the Nets are a 28 win team next season, I don't see anyone saying anything differently.
