Who will be the Starting 5?

Bulls fan that loves Mayo and Henry. I'm interested in your starting 5 next year. Will you be playing OJ at PG?

Mayo/Conley
Henry/Mayo/Jones
Gay/Young
Randolph/
Gasol/Thabeet

No different from the starting 5 last season:

Conley
Mayo
Gay
Randolph
Gasol

At least to start the season. Mayo, this season at least, will likely back up Conley with Vasquez. Also depends on whether or not the Grizz sign another vet.

To start the season, it will most likely be last year's lineup of Conley/Mayo/Rudy/Zach/Gasol with Henry backing up Mayo.

Many Grizz fans are hoping like hell that Mayo can make the transition to point. They then need a big defensive 2 next to him. That could have been Brewer but unfortunately the Grizzlies let him go to overpay Rudy Gay.

I really don't want anymore rookies in that starting lineup, so even if Mayo moves to point, I would hope that they bring Henry off the bench. We need bench scoring.

if you heard Hollins talking on sports 560 there is no chance OJ will be starting PG. Hollins does not view him of having any skills at the position. he will play some in summer league but is years away from taking over a starting point guard role from the way he spoke. and according to Rudy Gay they are sticking with the team they got now. same lineup

Lionel doesn't know ****. He also said that Sam was a guard. Sam has NO guard-like skills. His entire game consists of bulldozing into the lane, throwing up a shot and praying that it goes in. He can't dribble, pass...hell he can't even remember plays. Dude has one of the lowest bball IQs I've ever witnessed. I don't know what **** planet he's living on where he thinks Sam is a guard but Mayo doesn't have any ability to play the point. Silliness.

So basically he's on the same level as Conley for a PG? :)

As a big OJ Mayo fan I'm hoping this off season he really works on his PG skills and makes that transition. IMO this guy will breakout very soon and he's just really unselfish out there. I was really hoping Rudy would leave so Mayo get's a bigger opportunity.

Mayo
Henry
Gay
Zbo
Gasol

I know this won't be the starting lineup but I hope we see this lineup a lot during Memphis games.

After watching the game last night, I think the GV & OJ back court has real promise.

GV Mayo backcourt looked good on the highlights too!
Henry is not with the team. I guess he's starting the CBA lockout a year early

Nah - he has an agent that wants to pick a fight and make a point with Heisley. Regardless, I'm not against The General getting in as much time as possible with OJ.
